I would agree with you about the trend being validated or not ,and this next day(and more confirming, the week) being important. BUT NOT WHEN LABOR DAY IS JUST 2-3 WEEKS AWAY AND THE BIG BOYS COME BACK.

Very nicely done chart. I would not have seen that channel. And your S/R lines are spot on. But thru a completely different set of parameters as I use only 60m and daily with weekly for confirmation, I have arrived short as well. Sadly Im late to the party as there are way too many summertime starts and stops and false rallys. Lets hope after Labor day, the big banks come back from vacation saying thru the chart action "OK, we are back, get out of the way of this falling boulder. It should have been at 85 long ago."

Price currently capped by former .9130 support and resistance line.
We are still in bear territory.
The true fact is market doesn't care, risk mgt is important.

Guys look at the daily candle it will tell you the whole story.... yes it it bearish engulfing candle at least 100 pips to the downside

  2. Forecast for August meeting didnt lessen scope to cut rates
  3. Underlying inflation staying close to low end of range
  4. Saw Chinese growth unlikely to pick up in coming quarters
  5. Course of exchange rate wil be important for policy
  6. Says AUD remains high by historical standards
  7. Economy growing below trend pace, job growth modest
  8. near-term prospect for non-resources investment subdued
  9. Says strong growth in resource exports expected
