Basically, I think a small adjustment earlier on the development could be seen in a different structure that maintains this recovery as a correction...

Five waves unfolded perfectly. So, we can label "Wave A" and look for "Wave B"

Hi Ian,
I have reproduced your Monthly GOLD Chart from 13th November 2012 onto my own.
[To be clear, the text beyond the 1920 high is mine and not Ian's.
I wouldn't want to mislead anyone.]

I am therefore looking at this as a correction of the uptrend
Green (a)/(b) of Green (iii) of (C) Blue.
It appears to be unfolding as an abc correction [now in wave -c- green, down].
The 161.8% abc Fib. Expansion comes in at 1158.4,
which is nicely within your target range of 1138 - 1262.

I think I was mostly correct about Gbp/Usd

The pair is facing high volatility
And I am sorry Ian here, I think it wasn't Harmonic's iii's B.....


As I said, it was fairly possible since eur/usd didn't crack down
Now, How it will cross 1.57 that is what I am looking for.

[Edit:- I would like to see if anyone here post a brief HEW count of daily or 4h on gbp/usd]

Well, I am on holiday but from what I've just seen it does still look like a Wave -b- of Wave -iii-... can always break down but the next upside level (1.5537-55 - should be the higher) will provide a reaction and the subsequent support area then is quite clear also. Even in the rally in Wave -c- of -iii- we had a deep Wave b of Wave iii! So I have no idea why you don't think it's a deep Wave b of iii!

Update of Gbp/Usd

There are now much more chances of a failure of this rising impulse. So, I must issue a warning
This is very strong & moving market so failure could happen.

A break below 1.54820 could change the picture, You shouldn't hold long if that happens...
Otherwise, keep long till 1.57 & above

The 1.5555 target was the 561.8% projection in Wave iii. That it made it all the way to 1.5573 is still ok as it's the 585.4% projection.

Now you need to work out where Wave iv can retrace and I think your 1.5482 level is way too high...

I got time to pop in here while watching chart

There is a saying (Or I just made it):- " When you are right about a direction then and only then the probability of being wrong increase about direction of that direction"

This is what probably happening with gbp/usd's speculation of mine.

gbp/usd can still achieve that high mark of 1.57

(Above came from calculating divergences _ However, channels and trend lines yet to get cross & most probably some *positive news*)
