I have taken time off in the pass month for health and family reasons, been spending too much time at the computor.

Any voice that was developed with the use of the MS Speech engine will show up in the list generated from that engine if the voice was installed right.

will resume the project when time permits.

I have the Pro Amibroker software around version 5.30. Have not usesd it for a while and dont remember it haveing a speech function. Age plays tricks with your mind...

I posted a new version of the speak easy software on post number 1.

it has the same functionality as the older version but it can also create custom wave files.

if you know how to use a markup language then you can also customize the voices pitch rate volume etc...

future improvements are; the ability to stream repeated text files and or send multiple wave files in one command...

and a voice command capability to talk to MT as in giving voice orders ....

this is an executable so if you dont trust me not use it...

this porgram doesnot collect any data nor does it access the internet....

It is a MT bolt on meaning it will only work in the main directory of you meta trader software....

after you place the software in the MT directory you must start it and set it up....

the first thing that needs done is create the files the include file is the important one...

then you can activate the automation with mt.

theres are two test files which is a MT script to give example of usage...

theres no help file in this version clicking on the help buttom will bring up an empty shell of the help file.

In case some one is interested in createing wave files and would like to use the markup language..
to give you the heads up out front this version has no code checking for errors. If you compile your code with an error in the code it will crash the software...

write your first wave file by typing "hellow world" in the edit field and hit the play button. you can change the wave file properties this will only change them for this
file only they will not change the default setting.

if the file name field is in red it indicates the name is not acceptable so change the name to "hollew.wav" the compile button will then be enabled

before compileing make sure that 'save wave scripts' is checked. leave the 'use program tags' unchecked for now. compile the wave.

you will now see 'hellow' listed in with your other wave files but its collored blue to indicate that it has a script file of the same name.

if you click the [custom] button you will see it there too but its in red to tell you that its currently loaded in the soft ware.

click the [clear] button will clear the edit field and turn the name blue. now click the load button and you will see that script there double clicking it
will reenter it in the edit field again, which should turn the name red again. you can make any changes you want and recompile it.

note: to delete it you need to hi-light it in the wave list box and hit the [delete file] button this will delete both the .wav and the .wsp files.
but do not delete it now we will need it some more.

reload the "hellow.wav" in to the edit box using the load button. to add XML tags to your code click on the 'use program tags'.
the wave box will change to list avaible tags.
place your curse in front of the words 'hellow world' then click on the first tag " <COMMENTS> " hit the button [special tag]
and the comment tag will appear in the edit field were you placed your curser. when ever you see "XXX"s in a tag it means
you must enter some thing in the tag at that location. replace the xxxs with the words "my first wave."

Hit the [play] buttom and you will hear the same thing as before but theres three lines of code are now added these are needed
and should not be removed. click on the "use program tags again" to turn it off and hit the [play] button again, with the tags
turned off the speach engine will now try to read the tags as words dont sound so good now.

turn on the tags again and compile it you will be notified that the file exist click [yes] to resave it and click the [clear] button

at this point go to the zip file and retreve the two wave script files (they have the extention .wsp) they can be opened with note pad but donot change them out side of the software..

If you look in your.... mt directory>sound you will find a new directory called scripts. place these two .wsp files in that directory.

hit the [load] key again. they will not show up use the file type drop down to select the working back ups (.sew) files the two files will be now named
.sew instead of .wsp, the program should of changed as no .wav files were found to matching those script names.

double click on the "easy xml tutorial.sew" file it will be loaded into the edit field, the compile button should be enabled as the software wil not find the matching
wave file. click on the [compile] buttom

this file will now show up in your wave lists you should study this file to see how the tags are used. it contains most of the tags. playing it will explain the tags
usage too. you should keep this file as an example of coding using the markup language.

to delete any files click on it to hi-light it in the list box and hit the [delete file] button this will delete the .wav file and the .wsp file if it exist. Note: any file that this
program deletes can be found and retreived from your recycle bin.

in the mt>>sound>>script directory you will find some files with the names "hold wave.sew" "new wave.sew" "work wave.sew" these are work files which are
used to save your work as your working on a file you can turn back to the original copy of the file its stored as "hold wave" or if you accidently delete something
the "work wave" file will contain the last copy of the file even changes that were not compiles, there will be a file with the same name as the file loaded with the
extention .sew this is a copy of the file as of its last compiled version. they can all be retrived from the back up drop down if needed. Note; these files contain
copies of the LAST file that was loaded if you load another file you cannot go back to the prevese one.

the program will managed all .sew files no clean up is needed. If the software see a script file ".wsp" that doesnot have a matching ".wav" file it will rename the
".wsp" file to ".sew" file as a back up and save it for 30 days if it is not accessed in 30 days it will be deleted. this was done as a precausion.


NOTE:
There is one more thing this program should be able to compile wave files in other languages other then english. if you have a mechine that has a key board in
another language other then english I would like you to test this functionality post with your language and key board code. and I will give you the code to change
the language. If it works good I will create a property drop down to change the compiled language.

the next version will have the ability to send multiple text strings or wave files which will be placed in a stream to the speach engine. the ability to prioritize the text or file within the stream will mean you can send a request to the stream and place it ahead of others or even stop a wav and play another one first then to continue the wave that was paused.

Then I want to create a command channel to MT were you can speak to MT and place and or change your orders and stops with speach without tuching the keyboard.

Thanks for a great program it would have solved a lot of MT's problems with audio files and put a bit of fun back into trading, but thanks to the Knuckle Heads at MetaQuotes they have successfully screwed this project up like many others.
