I wanted to share a couple stock forks that I am looking at on fxpro under cfd. It helps to see the power of the fork over long trends.

Thanks Eaglestar, the JPM chart has caught my eye as well. I think it is a great example of how one fork can lead to another. I've also looked at MSFT because it is a solid stock part of Don Yacktman's top picks, but unfortunately I find the structure on that stock less readable.

As I said earlier, I don' trade short term charts anymore, but I do look at them and especialliy the EUR since I'm looking for UUP strength on the weeklies. I find this week's action on EURUSD 1 hour interesting. I may be biased, but it looks like a classic wash alla Tim. Traders were repeatedly encouraged to go short at 1.33, then the whale stole their position with a huge wash. The whale brought price down to 1.32 to show that he was serious aabout going short. Afterwards he brought price back up to the 1.33 balance line to wash weak shorts and improve his average. When price came back to 1.33 (ie today) he ramed prices back down because fundamentally, he is short and wants to bring price down. He's got his position, he's got a great average and now, by defending 1.33 he's letting everybody now that yes, you WERE washed by him, and now in addition to that he's going to use you to bring the EURO down.

I may be a maverick but I always Buy the Loonie (Sell short UC)
I wait until price reaches upper channel then sell.
To me going long on UC is riskier then going short.

To me 15min charts are like trying to cross a highway with cars coming at you left and right.You need to stand on top of the hill and look at car's headlights and back-lights in safe distance and see the serpentine shapes clearly..

You are right. I agree. I zoomed out on a h1 chart and will be keeping that as my default for a while. 15m charts follow the same rules of price that other charts do with regards to median line setups, but i can look across more pairs on the higher timeframe 1h and above. Nice thread also by the way. It is on my list of things to read.

What is the entry point for which chart? Or do you mean in general? What is your experience with forks? My AML v2.mq4 code for MT4 is somewhat improved vs. v1.

Regarding a translation for MT5, I posted this request for help or hints on the MQL5 forum, but in 18 months, I haven't gotten a single response. Feel free to add a comment in support of my request.

If anyone knows of a pitchfork tool written for MT5, that does essential things like draw Mod.Schiff/Schiff/... pitchforks and/or warning lines, quartiles, etc., please post a link to it in this thread. (Fyi, until I find something like it, MT5 to me is utterly useless).
