Yes KOS, I did. I entered late, then took fright at the first slight retracement, decided that as it was around 3am here, I would be right till morning to get back in. At about 8.30am AEST I had missed 200+ pips while I slept.

Its well with you and your wife, and I pray that affliction would be far away from your family. in Jesus' name!

that's +330 pips, it would get better with time and fright would give way to confidence.

330pips - many systems would be running around having a party - it's all positive and the confidence will build as you learn to read and trust the charts.

I wish your wife a speedy recovery and hope all will be well soon.

Hi Kos,
just before i was hit stop loss!
i was set stop loss 200pip .
it shortly go down more than 200pip then go back quickly..i never saw such like movement until now.
how about your thought and recommandation?

kos14 basket is still struggling with the resistance line but core5 has blasted through it. Interesting to see what happens!

NFP - gotta love the way it moves.....

3 ways to trade the NFP and major news events

1. close out before, re-assess and look for a re-entry trade
2. turn the SL off and review the trade after the news has passed and make a decision based on that
3. let the trade plan you entered with play out

each has it's own risk
1. there is no re-entry and you miss the run
2. turns against you and your feelings don't allow you to close out
3. your Sl gets hit (200pips is small SL for baskets though)

each has it's potential
1. you get to get back into the trade at a better price and resume the the original direction
2. your already in the right directon when it takes off
3. your already in the right direction when it takes off

i'm sure others have many ideas on this, and trust they will provide some feedback too - were all here to learn

your 1st post, you have a long way to go.

If you don't know about NFP then
I will advise you learn the basics first. BTS is not beginner's class.

that's my thought but no recommendations

Looking at his charts on page 248 it seems that H1 is 2,9,2,12 and H4 is 2,15,2,15.

or just TP and close shop till monday?

what's your take?

actually the red dotted horizontal line was my target, but I have doubts now.

I looked at your charts and compared them to my own. Nothing else. I saw the places where your HAS wicks changed colors and tried to emulate the same settings. After a couple of tries I learned how to see HAS settings and was able to pinpoint yours. I see that you don't always like to say your settings so I can delete my post if you like.

Sir, you are so kind, many thanks! You wouldn't know what the HAS settings are for D1 (daily). I don't believe this has been mentioned anywhere, and yes I have read the whole thread.

Thank you MPP for comments. I agree with you that many traders on most other systems would have a lot of parties if they could achieve the results that are possible & are being gained with KOS' system. I have lost a lot of the confidence in the ability I used to have & am learning a lot slower than I thought I would. It's not systems fault, it's my focus!!
I keep telling myself to focus, focus!

I have been on FX since March 2010, constantly.

Thank you for your good wishes for my wife' recovery. On August 10th we will have been married 57 yrs. We're gradually wearing down a bit, but have a way to go yet, & I will make it.

I give indicator settings always, and don't delete your post, nothing is secret here

Do you mean 2,55,2,55 for 4H HAS on 1H chart instead of 2,25,2,25?

Didn't know they were in the thread. I'm not done reading yet. I'll be done by today though
