Both ways work. This time I placed a predetermined buy market 1 min before each news came out. Expected pure elevation expected are 20 pips for French Flash and 30 pips for German Flash hence, putting you in a mathematical advantage playing it with a 7 pip SL. It's what you call a no-brainer.

how do u place a pre-determined order in a particular direction?

did u do some work on the fundamental news and data?

or its just pure probability of 7pip SL with 20-30 or more pips TP?

also I noticed the spread widening wont take out your SL if you buy but if you sell the SL gets hit because of the widening spread

Well , I had a stab at the

And it popped for 10 pip then fell back got me in for initial 7 pip then went south so I closed out with a small loss ...
as I'm not used to what happens in this situation ,I could have waited and would have got anything up to 40 pips....
so 20 pips profit would have been very easy.
i then went to trade the

And was watching the spread as Tony said the news events he has recommended are good for spread etc.
demo of course.well I set my alarm and set it wrong only to get the chart and see price move south with venom.....
would have been a super profitable trade .... But the spread on this pair GBP only hit 5pips which seems fairly reasonable to me...don't know what do you think Tony is this spread reasonable to trade ?
Anyway it went 51 pips on 2-3 secs. And pulled back and is still heading down..
