Which broker do you know of that has the most deepest liquidity..more banks..most liquidity providers..what brokers do you know of? please list

well it certainly wouldn't hurt to be connected to the broker who has the deepest and farthest reaching liquidity can it?

A stop order is sent to market @ market IF the bid/ask is quotes at the stops price.

if it was sent as a limit (@ x price or better) you;

a. would likely not get the price that you want as the market is moving the other direction (stops positively induce market movements hence the slippage)
b. would get slipped massively AND have to close out the trade manually assuming the market keeps moving against you.

That part of you post does not make sense to me, because a limit order will always be executed at the entered price since the order is in the orderbook. From my understanding, that slippage you describe might occur to market orders, but not to limit orders.

Here's an example: Let's say you enter a 20 Lot sell Limit EURUSD Order @ 1.31052, visible in the orderbook. Now there will be no slippage with this trade, no matter how fast the market is moving. the order will always be executed @ 1.31052, since another trader sent a market order against my sell Limit order

If you are trading 10's of millions, maybe hundreds of millions, then you need a bank which is a broker also.

If trading less than 10 million size account, any major broker will do.

more liquidity would hopefully mean getting your order filled.. so can anyone name any? that takes us clients?

any major broker in a well regulated jurisdiction can serve your needs. You keep mentioning you need liquidity, but you don't say how much, so I can't see anyone naming a broker for your needs without more information.

you dont want to send a stop as a limit, why?

A stop loss is designed to get you out of your trade at whatever price you can possibly get.

As an example.....

you are short 1 million EURUSD @ 1.3050 before NFP. you have a stop loss in the market at 1.3100, the markets currently @ 1.3075 so you are down $2,500.

The announcement is pro risk so EURUSD pops and is at 1.3150 within 1 minute.

if you have a stop limit (buy if ask => 1.31 and less than 1.3101, so its a one pip range) then you are likely not going to get that price as the market will trade straight through it. this means you would have an order hanging on the server waiting to be filled at 1.3100 and an unrealised loss of $10,000

a stop order would have been slipped (badly) but you would have gotten a price and a much better outcome...

Pretty much all brokers will have sufficient liquidity to meet the demands of 99% of their client base and most of the clients on this forum. People talk about liquidity and the next best thing, "the grass has to be greener", etc.. since they don't understand how liquidity and fills really work.
