Hi,

Can someone please explain, I am using 2 brokers using the same setup on both on one arrows are pointing up and the other pointing down?

What does the MACD show on the DAILY chart?

That is where trend is determined for the top arrow

Have you put the MACD3SS in the indicator folder of BOTH Metatraders?

I see USD-JPY trend as up, so the broker with black chart is correct

On the white chart the macd was up on the Daily chart when trade was taken,yes the macd 3ss is in the indicator folder on both

So it is trading the right direction, all I can suggest is to double check all the EA settings really close, time frame especially.

And make sure you force MT4 to load a large number of bars so the EA has enough to read from.

And change time frames, to force the EA to refresh what it is reading.

I am about out of ideas, you need to play with it some more, you seem to be alone in the hundreds of people using this EA and having continual problems.

It must be a lack of experience and we can't give that to you, you have to play with MT4, play with the EA, not just post a chart and say, it's not working.

Try a bit of problem solving, experiment, research the threads, Google, that's all I got really

And also, very important. Dont be lazy. I have few 1000ds hours of screen time.

And now, i start to see things before they happen..

Thank you for your reply I have already tried all the thing that you suggested before i posted. I dont know if it will make a difference but the 2 brokers i use there daily time frames are 5 hours apart so the daily candles will be different and that is what the macd uses. loads of other people have used this but do they use more than one broker with different time frames.

The 2 brokers i use are Forex broker inc http://www.forexbrokerinc.com/ and and apari .co.uk download these 2 demo and load the strat usd/jpy and then tell me if they are showing opposite signals.

You already have them running, just post a screen of the Daily chart - try to make them nice & clean, see my example

How can the Daily data be that much different to cause MACD reading that far apart?

The one in in white is wrong, it should be a buy with green arrows. Would you mind getting a demo account from forex broker inc and see if it does the same for you. it is the same on the eur/cad opposite signals but every other pair is showing the same.? the Ea could have a bug in it people who are using it on one demo account and are new or have not noticed will think that the buy and sell signals are correct when in fact they are wrong.

How are the arrows looking now? Quite simple, if you are not happy with a broker, don't use it.

Do these broker have 5 by 24 candles? That is, do they use 5 pm Friday New York close?

If not, maybe the small Sunday candle is making the MACD reading wrong.

I am swamped with too many demos, running too many EA's now, I am already getting mixed up, so sorry, I can't download any more.

Yes, EA could have a bug in it, or it could be corrupted; have you delete it and download latest version?

I seem to recall you mentioning in one of the threads that you use a script to apply a template to all open charts. I cannot find the reference anymore. Do I recall correctly? If so, is this a public script and has it been posted at FF ? Have you got a name I can search for ?

Another thing, look at the top of this page, see the "paperclip" icon near right side?

Click on that and you will find every attachment made in whichever thread you happen to be reading.

Look there first when trying to find files that are being discussed in the future, can find some interesting stuff

Yep. Well aware of the paperclip feature. However, the scripts were in the one thread that I did not search. Thanks for the reply.
