And.. we´re back in a range. Got to love EG past couple of days. Basically 0.85590 is the potential lower extreme of this range, with 0.85970 being the upper.
Yes, that last one is where we are right now. It just doesnt seem to want to breakout just yet. Clear break of this level opens some very heavy bullish potential..

In line with my bearish predilection I am watching for a sell off this afternoon:

  1. Failure, this week, to dent last week's bearish candle.
  2. Or close above the 38.2% retracement of that drop.
  3. Failure to reach escape velocity from .8600.
  4. End of the week.
  5. End of the month.

Lots of reasons to close those longs. Of course, I may be barking up the wrong tree completely. Have a good weekend.

This week it will be interesting to see what influence the Boe meeting will have on the Pound. At the moment, I remain long on EurGbp.

The implications of your chart is dire for the euro if it plays out especially against the relatively weaker gbp. At the moment I am bullish this pair but if I see a break of 8400 I will look to short. At the moment an upside breakout seems to be looming.

EUR/GBP WEEKLY CHART

I openned a heavy short position for long-term. We may see a big drop nowadays.

MY TARGET IS 0.7350

I was monitoring this one D. The upside breakout did not happen and the move down was quite impulsive. Will not do anything now and re-assess over the weekend. Great chart David

Hi smikey, so you still regularly post here. Nice.
I mean the people who make multiple usernames for expressing sarcasm/cynicism/ego/petty things in their posts.
I saw & felt the same when i left this thread long back(prolly 2-3 yrs back)
IMO Threads should always have strict laid down rules from thread OP .

Anyway hope EURGBP is still your favourite (late may,july, july, this pair was in some very shitty chop)

What a fight on EurGbp…It’s evident that a rise above 0.88 would be a strong buy, but below 0.84 we will still get a strong sell.

I agree with Elisab price is in no mans land right now. we are recovering off 8580 area which is support all the way to mid july. A break below that might give some action to the downside

Indeed it is a great pair to trade - when there are clear opportunities imho
