Well with all the moves in recent days, guess it is time for the markets to range untill there is major news coming out. I'd say it is time to sace some pips and sit on the lines. The clouds are in major range mode right now. As alwasy just my own opinion. More pips to all of us.

hey tnavi

i have installed the template and EA as kindly uploaded in your blog. i have run this on 15min #kos#14 chart using basketv6 indicator, on a global prime mt4 demo. so far so good.

however when i loaded it, the symbol for a buy (blue arrow) shows up on the chart and large yellow letters 'processing' on terminal, please see screenshot. any advice would be appreciated ,

Hi there,

You have installed it correctly and the EA has been set to take trades when PA enters or leaves the cloud. Once this happens, the EA will execute a trade which will Read "Processing" You will get this when the EA is either opening or closing trades. So what you need to do now is to leave and watch it for some days so you see how it works. The next step is to remove the EA when you do not want it to take trades for you. Best method is to only bring on the EA on to your charts when you think PA is right or there may be a break out, you set the EA on your charts and let it take trades in any direction the break out occures. This could even be when you are asleep or away from the charts. Good for news or Non Farm pay roll times. Last one netted some of the traders here almost 2000 pips. Stay around watch Tnavi's blog and you will be on your way. Right now PA is in a range and may be so for some days to come as lots of moves happened from last week. Keep watching it and seeing how it works, you will learn alot about this systerm just doing that.

thanks for the reply. sorry i was perhaps a bit unclear, what i mean is that the screen hung at the word 'processing' but no buy basket was initiated, no trades were taken by the EA.

i have currently deactivated the EA in any case as i can see right now the price seems to be meandering through the choppy ichimoku cloud. very excited waiting to catch a breakout/ good run as per tnavi's blog, and as per recommendation from tnavi have discovered the amazing teamviewer app so can track my home pc on my android phone, so hopefully when those baskets do come i will be able to take profits when at work. am planning to sort of draw the trendlines in my head.

Sorry I want to ask about a system that's not related to this thread.do u still remember paulus thread where they used Trend magic and HG mtf to trade off from 5min tf?just wanted to hear your view abt the system cos I saw u used the sytem months back.its the system good?

Hey Guys, Hey Kos!

First off, thanks for this wonderful thread! I was interested in basket trading for some time now and finally I found a system that seems applicable. I know you are all very busy with your trading and that you want noobs to this method to study first... However, I have an issue that I can't resolve, no matter what I try... Any help would be greatly appreciated!

So my standard 14 pairs basket is working like a charm, however I can't figure out why my 5 pair setup is not working. I would love to trade this. Here is exactly what I am doing to generate my charts:

1) Open MT4 and a fresh m15 GBPJPY chart
2) Open a fresh h1 GBPJPY chart
3) Drag the 'C5 Offline' indi on both charts, dlls all allowed and settings 15 and 60
4) Go to Chart > Open offline: No Core506... etc charts are there to open

I tried all combinations I can think, downloaded a bunch of files from the attachments, restarted MT4 but still can't figure out what is going wrong there.

I would really appreciate all help I can get from you guys. Kos: My apologies for the noob question

left the system long time ago. the HG mtf repaints badly

hang in there Larfa, pick one TF, one or two indies trade with them until you know them.

Its not really the indicator or the system, its the man between the screen and the chair that
will eventually determine how far the PL is going to look like red or green.

in other words keep working on yourself

yes I know. see what 15 min looks like in the same 6 trading days a lot of in-out fail fail trades
while H1 is calmly taking all in.
its your choice anyway and I respect that
