I just realized that by default the EA is set to trail the SL after 100pips. Is this the method with which you achieved the best results 100pips? i though I read you would basically let the trade run with your original SL and TP and wait for the trade to close at one of these levels.
The trailing stop is only there due to the programming, I NEVER use a trailing stop. I simply wait for SL or TP targets to get hit.

It'll never catch on - there must be some indicators - how would we know if it is really going up or down?

I did catch the bounce off of the 1.4975 region, so that was good for a few nice pips. Can't trade at the moment, so watching with envy!

I started to use your EA on June 25 in a live account. I followed your thread to set the SL/TP. I enabled the trailing stop loss. I do not manually intervene the system. All pairs in your thread with SL/TP suggestions are used. 0.1 lot is used. Originally, I have 12,000 USD. Now, I have only 9100 USD. Could you shed some light on the potential problem?

As said often enough, DO NOT trade the EA blindly on automatic mode. It is important to analyse the charts and PA on different timeframes to decide when to enable and disable the EA on selected pairs.

IMHO, manual intervention is mandatory to have a long-term success.

Let me get this right. You have 12k, Live account, you used all the pairs suggested and traded 0.1? $1.00 per pip? What is your maximum trades per pair? Did you try to Demo for a few months before you went live? I think I see the problem before you can answer the question. Anyone else???

My suggestion demo first, then learn PA, in regards to when and how to close the pairs. Just a suggestion. Otherwise expect the same results.

Please give more details about which pairs are being traded as well as Max Positions per pair. I can only think that you are trading too large in regards to log sizing. If possible, please link account to Trade Explorer or MyFxBook in order to analyze properly.

I cannot send you PM because of the restrictions of the forum. The attached are the trading histories. Yesterday, I lost another 2000. Now I have turned off the EA.

Goldmine - put it on demo and take the OPPOSITE trades for real

It takes a lot for me to IGNORE you, but you can try.

Hi Golum, I used to make more than 250K USD with my own trading system started with only 10K. Due to some reasons, my original system cannot work anymore.
I have not traded for about two years. Recently, I wanted to try new styles of trading and saw this lost post.

I trusted this EA because I did some back testing by myself and I also saw some successful examples in this post. But I did not expect that the system worked so bad in my live account. I know Erebus is kidding. But I will appreciate if someone can provide any help.

Please look at your statement carefully. There are variations in lotsize for different pairs and trades are bunched together for a single pair almost at the same time. That means there is no time gap prescribed by the method or there is serious tampering with the settings. Please study the method judiciously before jumping into it in a hurry.

The maximum trades of one pair was set to 2. The time gap between two orders of the same pair is 6 hours. The trades of EURUSD were generated by another trading system and thus should be ignored.

Lot Size seems too high. You should have started with the min size till you get a hang of the system. If you are with 20x50 better switch over to MACD EA. Anyway, bad luck. Costly learning process..

But the good thing is u have made abt 250k times ago thats really fantastic... Tweak things up sure u`ill find ur way.
