Ok! I like it. But i don't like to trade trend lines, trade just horizontal levels. But, in general, i agree with you.

Hi,

Are there any of you shorting the AUD/USD over weeks rather than intraday ?
I was willing to do that but every forex broker I could find (Australian based) take a huge margin on the swap ( 10.2 points overnight with ICMarket instead of 7.5...).

Love it! Yep my ears pricked up at the positive China data, got in long 0.9105, let it get in profit then set SL above BE, set TP @ 0.9175 (only because I had to leave the desk) which obviously hit & surprised to see it go up to nearly .9200.
Am short now from 0.9185 (also short Gold from 1256). We'll see how the rest of the week plays out...

I only hold 3-4 days max at the moment & only if its had a good run from decent entry obviously. Yeah swap fees are disheartening haha

This was a successful 100 pip move. I identified the aussie was being accumulated through wyckoff principals and used point & figure charts to project take profit areas.

This trade was taken this week on the 5 min chart.

if you believe the pair has significant downside, swap really shouldn't be a problem.

And yeah, swing trading is my bread and butter.

Out with 35pips... Done for the day... Tmr and day after will be crucial.... So good luck traders... Upside seems strong... But can change instant... If data is worse than forecast..
