A bit slow of a market, but managed to take 12 pips out of this short trade. Successive LL and LH seen on both the M1 and the H1 (horizontal lines thanks to 919's indicator). Trigger was traditional Babon rules - below the Ichi and the slope turned down after the pullback. Exited on the high volume doji just inside the M5 TMA.

Hi, Tony.
I meant pin bar on TMA H4 middle line H1 timeframe. I don't have exact statistic, but this kind of pin bars on different TMA timeframes work perfect in the vast majority of cases.
Here are a couple of examples.

One more trade - While this wasn't as good of a setup as before (H1 was moving up) it setup nicely for me on the M1. I cheated a bit on the entry and entered at the pullback to broken support with a doji confirmation. Quick exit at the M1 TMA for 4.5 pips because as I said, it wasn't the perfect H1 setup. But TMA M5 sideways, TMA M1 down, reversal pattern on the M1, cross the ichi, pullback, enter.

New to the thread. Have downloaded the templates and set up on platform ( am experienced at it ) but I am not getting the TMA channels to show. They show up in the indicators list. Wondering if someone could give me the settings for them so I can study this method more closely.

make sure u are on the right time frame for the template

i would like to see babon changing colour, ideally at S/R level. the particular trade i posted included also nice round number which wasnt really tested and thought price will come back. countertrend trades often fail if you have more aggressive run up/down, so need to watch out for those

yes, pinbars can be quite powerful. good observation in relation to tma. i see what you meant with 4h now, thanks.
i meant the pinbar with red arrow on my picture. not near tma but good resistance i thought

Tony, could you please look at the settings you have for your TMA indicator for the two lower frame charts. I can't get mine to show on chart the way yours are. The period and apply to settings.

hi, only using default settings

on 1min chart
timeframe current time frame
half length 20
price 0
atr multiplier 2.0
atr period 100

the same for 5 min chart except `timeframe` needs to be changed to 5

I downloaded the TMA indicator from the group of indicators presented in an early posting in this forum. The only variable settings it has in the inputs is Periods and Apply To. If yours is different could you please post it as I am very keen to evaluate this system. I have the rest of the template showing except the TMA's.

Greg if you use the True TMA set the xi period to 20 and I think it should be good

For the 5min and 15min you will need to use TMA, but they will not repaint much

AU Long - out just inside the M5 TMA band for 12... could go farther, looks like that hourly triple/quadruple top might break. But Who knows, I'll take what I have
