Area to watch on the DOW is around 15240 can it get above and hold or will it get rejected.

price is at 15207 atm

Thanks for the pm, CG. I expect TLT to catch a bounce, showing some this morning. I will be looking for 10y yield to slide back <2.60 and my TLT calls to profit.

Puts RUT 1010 only for today and close today.
APPL vertical spread for credit 435/440 Aug 13 looking for 1.5 (actual 1.20)
CAT sell Vertical spread Aug 13 77.5/80 for 0.70 limit (actual 0.63)

JPM maybe friday

DOW went as high as 15262 and has been trading around 40-50 area and now 12235, see if it closes below 15240

I'll be looking to take a long term trade perhaps 6 months out on IWM after seeing the RUT charts, looking to take December $90 puts only if i can get them at the right price

Just put in a pending order to take advantage of a retrace on JPM before there earnings result on friday

order put for JPM $52.50 put for 12c fridays expiration, at the minute it trading at 13c so hoping it gets filled before close in 5 minutes

Event risks late summer are the Jackson Hole meetings (last days of August?) and the Sept FOMC meeting (9/17-18). If jobs data continues to look good maybe we see outright announcement of QE pullback around then. Then there are those who say we'll see QE5 announced then. Either way, position further out to catch the best of the cataclysm, say Oct at the earliest.

Do you like the leveraged index ETF's? - see SDS, SPXS, etc....

don't like spxs, its harder to trade our style

if the pm's can put together a multi-day rally maybe the miners can follow? My lesson learned on the volatile leveraged pm ETF's: don't be too shy about cashing in a healthy profit when you can, else it can be snatched away in a heartbeat...
