Why is the volume so poor?

I've noticed the last few days the forex market volume has been poor. Does anybody have any explanation? Is everyone on vacation? Is this seasonal, or is it just a random fluctuation?

No major news maybe. Or Like I have heard it is a summer thing and wait til Sep. to start trading again.

I think the market is expecting the FED to be finally CLEAR....

which is never....

maybe we have arrived to the end of forex

mayeb will be a day when majors currencies prices will be stabilized , with +50 or less 50 pips a month. not nice prospective, but we never know,

Hey, if we were range bound til the end of time, wouldn't that be nice knowing ok euro isn't going any higher nows the time to sell?

Renasdad is right on the ball.

No news = not much volume
However I would like you to take a look at the USD/CAD pair today. Nice move heh. Why you ask.. large news came out today for CAD. But no news for USD.

Next week it will pick up with the USD.

I was doing some homework the other day and as usual am joyfully amazed that the currencies go UP, DOWN, and sideways like they've seem to in their usual fashion. Currency Trading really is a gas : ) There is just no predicting it's predictability (to go u/d/s that is), and that makes it all the more fun.

I think that it is because ever since June 6 (6/6/6) a LOT of folks are hunkering down for the end of the world and the advent of the Anti-Christ.

Personally I have just cleaned out my old 1961 bomb shelter and stocked it with tuna and powdered milk. I have a lot of duct tape and plastic sheating stashed away and 600 gal. of unleaded gas burried in my back yard.

Hang on folks It is comming soon!!!!!
