Anybody else having problems connecting to Oanda this morning (12am UK Time)

no problem with trading, but can't seem to conect to the messege bord or studies.

Oh ... must be something up with the routing then ... I cannot even connect to their home page ... driving me crazy!

have not been able get on to fx trade or oanda all morning

i had no problems today with fxtrade, its working fine

they are back on

I also now cannot connect connect again.. recocuring

No problems here. Been okay all night.

Same problem, coudn't connect. But now everything it's fine.

everything's good on my end right now and late last night (euro open)

The problem was this morning arround 7-9 EST

I was able to get in about 30 minutes ago and am unable now. Page not found error...

I was fine till I read this thread - then bam - i got knocked out -

This must be that 'we attract what we fear' thing I've been reading about.

yes, Have had a few porblems with their platform lately. I thought it was just me!

I have traded with Oanda for a while and the are pretty good. Got to love the spread

can I pace a stop order on Oanda e.g. if GBP is at 1.8310 I want to buy it IF the price goes through 1.8320 .... without me currently in the market - cannot see that you can do this?

yes....at Oanda it is a limit limit order......so you would place a buy limit at 1.8310....set and forget, so to speak, you do not have to leave your computer on or the program running, unlike vt trader.

Sorry i'm being a bit dumb ... so how do i place these two orders differently ... the market is at 1.83

1) I want to buy it if it drops to 1.8290 (this is what i think as a limit order)
2) I want to buy it if it goes through 1.8310 (this is what i think as a stop order)

Hi Paul,

The two things you indicated above can be done using the Limit Order tab.
Yeah, I know the label is kind of misleading.
But anyway, you are right about the examples you gave above regarding stop and limit orders.

So today Oanda did the unbelievable thing to me! i went long on euro/aud at 1.6941 and had a tp at 1.6967. The price went up as high as 1.6971 but the order was never closed!

I called them up and they came up with the excuse that my order isn't showing on their server or some shit. Then the guy told me he'll look into the order and would call me back. I doubt I'll get a call back. What lying bastards

To think oanda wouldn't do this kind of shit I'm pissed
