Let's get to work

Getting pretty tedious. What I do for these drops is use it to lower my average entry. The longer we spend guffing around at these levels, I'll switch from averaging entries to trading out for but now, we ok.

Spent an hour wrestling on the wrong side of GU, out now.

It's been a cracker of a week but two trades I should still be in - long UY and long GA. Both I had in mind for longer timeframes too, so it's good, but still plenty of room for improvement.

Right then, this week.
UY is way too high to pile in on, but way too strong to short, want to see 50-100 retrace before consider piling in.
AU is short for today, got in about 5 pips ago, and I put a small one on GU too. Nothing too crazy right now.

Alright, moving those to b/e. GU has barely got off the ground, but AU performing nicely, looking for 139. GU could be reversing, thus covering.
UY looks like it's topping off too but not convinced enough for shorts yet.

I closed down AU a while back and made some of GU the other way, enough to cover me for the day. Haven't got much else for now, so back to the research grindstone till later this pm.

back to shorting gu again as of right now. We may still hang around till 3 but should see a bit of movement thereafter.

Meant to say - target 1.5190 half and other half 1.5014.

Nudging just shy of new highs at the moment. Still short, happy to hold if necessary because target of 5014 still stands.

I'm fairly heavy in, if it goes much higher, I'll lighten up a bit to give room for maneuver.

Been in and out though right now, my base is a bit too low so bringing it back up whenever there's a rise like now.
Much as I'd love to spend all day doing this, will have to settle on a price soon and leave it to do it's thing. Target is days away.

I would hold on but it's looking fairly bullish right now and I don't like holding new positions overnight because it can often leave a gnarly mess to deal with in the morning. Lots of scalps today in the end, looking to short it tomorrow all being well.

Going to be tricky day today, need to be alert.

got a short on GU that's just above b/e and a long uchf at b/e right now.

GU may well have proper legs, whereas uchf I don't see much more than today for. I'll add a bit in if it falls below current, but take profit within its range. Looking at short later in the day. More once I get my head around it.

Lightening up there on GU and closing UCHF, because it's really countertrend to the timescale I'm focusing on.

Today's a good day for longer-term positioning, just figuring out details.

Shorted uchf from 985, will scale to 550. GU looks like I was a bit too early. think they'll be further chances to get short at better levels though. There's more long-termers here though... scratches head.

Tricky. We've either got another leg down on euro or this is the turn. I'm ready for the ascent to 1.3169 but if we see another leg I'll trade out this position. Should be easy enough if I'm nimble.

UCHF looks like it might pop upward again, and if it does I'll slam it again like a rat in a drainpipe - 521-531.
I could do with a long eurgbp, but not yet, not sure about potential recovery in GU. IF it happens, will open up the door for a long eg.

Looking at it, the next leg down could be a fair old way so should it happen, I'll be mindful not to rescue too early. OK for now.

which reminds me, there's some right cobblers in the main discussion forums about rescuing. Price distribution isn't gaussian, but it still forms a curved distribution. Because fat tails mean that rescuing will eventually annihilate you if you don't know where to draw the line, it's like there's an assumption you must go linear instead. There's a sweet irony in that the way to trade that appears the easiest is actually one of the hardest, and is advocated by jokers like Mark Douglas.

I do know some people who are amazing who trade linear, but their accuracy is second to none. It's for beginners, people at the top of their game and people who don't/can't watch their positions, which admittedly covers most of FF, but it's the shittiest advice. Rant over.

Taking half if we see 77 on eu, and will try and double up on a lower leg.

AU this is difficult but Ive gone light long here, though no rescue. Could be a belter if it works, but out 40 below if it doesn't.

UCHF just hammered on top.

EU shouldn't fall too much more from here, but either way, I'm half out, and will get the rest out and reposition.

Blimey not just one but two fat fingered errors, serves me right for trading and trying to type this thing too close together.

EU out of without problems. Wouldn't long again till about 960.

AU holding up well considering the eu falls.

UCHF underwater awaiting the drop and is quite a bit offside. UY needs to top off and it will soon.

OK give or take a few more, UCHF is as high as I want to see it, so any more than this, I'm going to need to do some special moves to get out of it. Am rather annoyed I bailed out GU so early today but can't afford to be distracted right now....

As it pushes up to 3pm in London here, it's the time immediately following that's going to be decisive.
Don't take that as recommendation, but if UCHF is going to work it's going to happen fairly shortly (that mini drop is not what I'm after!).
AU looks OK now (20 in), because it's high risk (no possible trading out of it), I've moved to b/e. I hate doing that early on, but needs must
