I played around with ichi a few years ago and got no where. I found it maybe work on the higher time frames but not for me. Give it a try might work for you. Long term any indicator system/strat will not work as the times when we hit consolidation will be a killer.

Ichimoku cannot be used for trading reversals because entries are often too late. By the time when PA gets out of the cloud, the main move is already nearing its end. I am sure that many traders find Ichimoku useful for visual aid but I am not sure if and how can it be used as a signal tool.
By the way, Claudia, so far I find Triple Screen Strategy more promising than D20-D50. It is also being run by 100pips.
But, certainly, a system that is traded from hourly-daily charts does not need an EA. Trading is a hard manual job if to take it seriously. And hundreds of good threads in FF have been killed by introducing EA-s.
Indrek is right , Ichimoku is a trend trading tool only.
There are many ways and strategies to trade ichimoku. Take a look at Chris Capre, he has many vids on youtube. Go to his website at 2nd skies where he has many articles and vids as well. There is a wealth of info available on how to use ichimoku, take the time to educate yourself and you will be suprised to its many uses.

It seems that you shouldnt have taken the first trade as the SS was still below the price and you TS was not above your KS. 2 fulfills the criteria, but i think you should still be looking bullish, then 3 was an accurate time to enter. so i think you would have made a loss, but i think you should have only entered one trade. I do think there is a bit more to this than the rules stated. staying out in a choppy market maybe.
ichimokuking I have been using Ichi for a year or so, and it has been common for people following ichi not trade a breakout if the price is crossing a flat Senkou Span B. I have noticed on a few current charts that this seems to hold true. I was wondering if you could look at some of your past performance and see if this had any long term basis?

Once the trades are open, do you worry about the signals any more, or do you just stick to the SL rules. So if SS went into price, or the T/K crossed back the other way, would you consider closing some of the positions?

Yes. For the "System indicator, bars show up when at the point when conditions for trades are met. "Close of bar" condition has not been programmed, so you need to see whether at the close of that bar, conditions are still met or not.
For the Tenken and kijun cross indicator, if the two values are same, then there will be no bar at that point.
