MTF Ichimoku System

Hi,

This system is a 2 Ichimoku system. Not a single Ichimoku system

Let see if this system I like can be useful for other traders here.
This system is visual and easy to use for "beginners"

This system works on M15/M30, M30,H1 and H1,H4 setups.
I use it most on H1/H4

I trade this system with success on all majors.
I do not trade on "bad spread" pairs.

When you take the trade you ALWAYS need to calculate Risk/ratio.
Some of the trades will have bad R:R and should not be trade.

So lets start !

Setup
Install 2 MTF with 2 timeframe that I indicated ( Example with h1/h4)

I trade when price enter the "space" between both clouds.

In example orange is long and green short.

S/L is outside the cloud on opposite direction and TP when price comes to next cloud.

Example long is:
Initial trade.
Enter long on 1.36669
S/L : 1.36079.
T/P : 1.37453.

During the trade will I adjust S/L and T/P.

I put green lines for entry.
I put red lines for exit.

Hi seykota - plz clarify the exact rules for entry (and exit).

As we all know one good system do not make you rich...
You need to also control your brain and feeling

When you are in one trade your brain is not working like when you are not in one trade.
Trading live is not like trading demo :d



Btw here is a 2 trades one bad and one good.

I enter the trade on 1.06881 but get stopped out on 1.07186. (Arrow down)
I reenter this trade (9-feb 19:00) on picture.

I close this trade 15-feb 12:00 / Red line. Price : 1.04757

What is the Kind of stop Loss you are using to keep the trade for more than 6 days and what was the other criteria you used to keep the trade for a longer period

I'm a trend follower so I stay on trade.
When one trade goes > 20-50 pips ( depends of market ) I move S/L = BE

I try to stay to my T/P

Trade 1
9-Feb-2010 7:00 opening
11-Feb-2010 01:13 my T/P get hit

Trade 2:
18-Feb-2010 22:00 opening. ( 0.8953)
I'm < 0 on this trade. (S/L is 0.90041)

S/L and T/P are not fix. ALWAYS check Risk ratio !!

Hi,

In this picture you can see that distance from orange line ( open position ) to Green line (T/P ) is very small.
Distance between orange line ( open position ) and red line ( S/L) is much bigger.

So this trade have a very bad Risk ratio and should not be trade.
