Hi Tbavi

You require the Basket indicator or the T101 ea? I assume that you requires T101 mode for JPY. Just see the mq4 of T101 ea. You will find in the bottom 7 pairs mode containing all the 7 JPY pairs. You can be able to trade better with the Ichi TLE that you are using for only JPY pairs. If you wanted the indicator Basketanypair_v6 for creating the JPY offline chart, couple of times I attached before. You will get it by searching the thread. Please let me know if you wanted something else other than above.

Yes sir it is for all the time frames. However, higher the time frame the HAS 2 9 2 12 becomes lagging. It is good for M15. It is also good in H1, however that entry will turn out good if the market goes for a very big trend and you required to be patient with the price action.

Following your comments I took screen shots at regular intervals of the Nikkei opening on the 19th in my setup testing the JPY strength with the 1000pips mini currency strength indicator to show the correlation between the 7 JPY pr offline PA & the JPY strength.

If my observations are right & the obvious logic is right, as the JPY strength goes up this indicates to short the JPY prs, as the JPY strength goes down, long the JPY prs.

I setup all 6 offline charts, D1 thru M1, featuring the 7 JPY prs. in a side by side formation across the screen. This gives a view of the full range of TFs spread across with the 1000pips mini on each offline TF. This may be a cumbersome way to show this, & it maybe pointless, but it may give an indication of a developing trend as each TF falls into line with that trend, it also shows retracements as they begin to form on the lower TFs, thereby giving some entry indication.

Unfortunately, with the ranging, choppy market during the week, it was not a usefull test. I hope to get a better reading of the results when the market gets back to a trending mode. I hope to see possible entry signals that may be available from this configeration to help confirm an entry signal developing on the HAS & ICHIMOKU

I would like to have an indicator that would combine the PA readings from the 6 offline TFs I am referring to above & the 1000pips mini or similar currency strength meter to produce a confluence with the entry signal of the HAS & ICHIMOKU to help me with my entries.

Perhaps there is already an indicator coded to produce what I am describing above.

I hope I have not just described something quite useless, providing only clutter.


I have a lot of screen shots if anybody would like copies.

does anyone have problems with basket v8 for some reason it wont reckonize in my indicators folder it works fine in a different account trying to setup a 7 pair jpy

Hi mates!

it was flat last week, but lets put that behind us and look straight

this post may be instructive and help prepare our minds or it may be just another post.

H4 was flat
D1 was 5 flat bars
WK1 was a doji
WK1 just bounced of HAS and may be heading up
WK1 XO is green.

I will try not to be missing in action for the next 2 weeks

I let this sell trade go without entry. The market has moved away from the range and got into a Downward channel. I will wait and follow through for the next entry signal.

I have attached a screenshot of the array of 6 offline charts of the 7 JPY Prs @ Asian opening on 19th June, as I referred to in post 4724, trying to illustrate how the 1000pips mini moves with the PA of these offline JPY pr charts. The JPY prs had already moved up from 8th position to 6th position during the 10 minutes before 10am.
I had a problem with my brokers time being GMT + 3. This I will try to get right next time

Due to the market of this week it could not show anything useful as the JPY moved with the whipsaw.

I will post another view when I have something more useful to show.

Just want to say thanks for all your contributions on this thread and for your personal assistance to me via Teamvier on setting up my charts.
I see you have a problem with screen shorts. Well, if you have windows 7 or XP, there is a screen capture tool they all have called " Snipping Tool" it should be in all programmes files. Use that tool to capture screen shorts. It is vey easy to use. Once you capture your screen, you can upload to FF as a attachement. Also, there is another free tool on the web called Jet Screenshot.

Hope that helps but if you still have problems using any one of them, feel free to skype me and we can use teamvier to share screens and I can show you in reall time on your computer how it works.

If any one too has problems with these, let me know I can offer assistance.

XO indicator and renko are all but nearly the same - i dont know if you are all aware....

Given the number of pms I received about renko, this might be of interest

- Sorry but I dont have time to wipe people's renko bottoms... no offense intended - just some British humour...

I think the reason you got so many PMs (mine included) is because you are posting pictures of renkos of the basket. This is something coders in the past have tried and failed.

You have asked us to back off because you're not willing to "wipe our ....", but I don't believe that is what this thread is about. So many kind people here helping each other learn and trade together. I think Kos, Tnavi, and many others (especially Gvc) should be an example of kindness and sharing.

I can understand if you don't want to post the script/indi/ea for renkos, but the information you give us is insufficient. The thread you mentioned has a renko script, indi and ea, but the indi doesn't make an offline chart, the script has the bars falling (basket now is 146,380 and it keeps falling to 3,000, where it stops) and the EA doesn't show any new charts amongst the offline ones.

You are a trader of much knowledge and I admire you for that, but interest towards what you show us should be built upon, not dismissed.

Just my two cents...

I felt the same way like you too when I saw the unwillingness to wipe other people's renko bottom.
The very basis of this thread is to wipe other people's trading backside.
and that is what a lot of coders and friends have been doing from inception till now
and are not even tired, even when we gain practically nothing from it.

Apologies, it seems my renko was different to what on the renko block thread, hence the problems.

It was a few months ago that I was tweaking the code and foolishly did not make notes of the amendments and saved it with same name.

It was a simple fix to work offline -

replace the code "Bid" with Close[0]. Surprised no one thought of this before....

Fake ticks go into scripts folder

I prefer using EA version - even though you need to place faketicks script, because if metarader crashes - there is a manual override if you have EAs running live on the renko. Eg it wont start trading automatically when you load it back up!!

Peter - hope you can answer any newbie questions

- please read renko block chart threads first.

Thanks for your question; it makes me analyze my thoughts on what I am trying to achieve.

I have trouble with entries & exits, most of my failures, & there are plenty of them, come from the exits in particular. I can see that you & the other experienced traders here seem to succeed mainly because of your skill in knowing when to get into & how long to stay in the trade, & recognizing the signals to close, where I am regularly closing when I should hang in there but when I do hang in there, I get burnt. I guess I am not the only one having that experience & hope that in time I will see the PA as clearly as you do.

I am not proposing that the picture I have posted is a way of trading the basket & have no intention of going away from or changing your BTS system with the HAS &/or ICHIMOKU. This is the system I intend to stay with. I particularly like its smoothing & averaging effect.


What I am trying to do is give myself a better overall picture of where the market is going by seeing on one demo screen what all TFs & the JPY are doing, to help me see where the PA is going, particularly trying to pick what is a reversal & what is just a retracement by seeing the offline TFs & the JPY strength all on one screen. If I see the Daily & H4 TFs are still heading clearly in one direction, it gives me confidence that I am still with the trend. I am not saying that this setup is the answer.

I hope this gives you an outline of where I am at, some days I think I am on top of it, only to be brought down to ground level very quickly. There is some urgency in my mind as I want to succeed before I hit 4 score years; some of my friends think I am mad to even try.
