Yes, the bull surprised me today and I lost quite an amount however, I am still at my stand of yesterday and if my green line breaks than a larger move will happen. The green line held the prices and the bull jump was strong and painful. The chance that the prices will test again the green line is diminishing but letīs see by the end of the day. The market is crazy right now (yes, cause I lost, when I win then the market is wise ) and everyone is waiting for the meeting of tomorrow with now clear biass (as far as I understand from the analysis I read). All possibilities are on the table. I wish I stood out..now is too late!

Not to worry rehab. with MM in place you will recover easily. Your analysis is very good

By the way would anyone on the thread be interested in trading strategies based on the weekly chart? This strategy will attempt do SetnForget trades on the weekly charts that can be manages weekly. The reason I am looking at this one is to force trading discipline and to get the biggest moves which usually occur at unpredictable times. This will also help me in my move to become a better trend trader and a position trader. If there are no bites I will launch a new thread for this system.

I for one would like to see your weekly position trading strategies...I would think one could make a above average return if one got out of his/her own way.

We could just follow the market...but with strict m/m rules I would think.

Please give us a heads up on the new thread.

No itchy fingers or arrows in the back...I'm sure.

Hi Golfer

Thanks for yor comments and the charts. I was going to post that copper chart as well. I read sometime ago and have imbibed into my trading that copper is a leading indicator of the world economy. Fundamentally this tells us what is happening in China who consume 40% of the world's copper for their economy. An economy that is faltering at the moment. I remember posting a chart sometime ago of a sub 3.00. We are getting there now. After all is said and done we could see $200 copper.

Bonds is another interesting one. Bond yields are rising i.e bonds prices are falling so long the TBF ETF should work well. The market is factoring in slower Bernanke purchases and so prices are falling. By the way I dont think he said anything unusual or unexpected but the market is doing the 'buy the rumour sell the fact' thing or vice versa. Can you believe that on the day of the speech and the next everything went down - commodities, stocks, bonds and currencies. Pretty unusual.
