Bad chinese manufacturing data, we could see a major sell off tomorrow with silver and gold

thanks, mate, VXX $19 put just a small trade. Watching Tokyo and the Nikkei not down too bad so far, I will be encouraged if they don't have a big sell-off. If we can get some buying back in NY session tomorrow I might make something. My expectations are low.

Yes, IAU $13 July put leg been waiting too long, so I need that $13.00 level breached to b/e. I think I paid $0.39 for them. If gold really starts to slide soon I will make some good money there. Hope to see gold sold hard overnight.

TLT closed after hours at $111.80 - that's a $3 swing in the last 5 days, almost a $15 drop in the last 6-7 weeks. If the 10yr rate keeps rising and can hit 3.0 by the end of the summer, my wildass Sep $100 TLT puts could pay 3-4x or better.

Still, when you make that on these scalps on the weeklies on a regular basis...hats off.

still in my spreads.... really didnt expect all this volatility this summer

as long as spy stays above 158 and IWm stays above 91 Im good.... but it is def a bumpy ride with the markets going haywire everyday....

got a $1.05 credit on a TLT July 106/115 short strangle...

letssee if it can go somewhere(or preferebly not go anywhere

No complaints here. USO, TLT, even IAU puts up large. Didn't get short as much as I wanted elsewhere but it's enough.

VXX $19 w calls of course were wiped.

So how long will the carnage continue? I'd like to bid Dust July puts - we should see gold bounce in the $1,200's. No rush though....

TLT July 106/115 huh? I guess that might fly. Honestly I don't know what to expect - avalanches are hard to predict, just get on and ride or get the hell out the way.

not really chasing a waterfall... just kinda seeing where it starts and where the pool of water is underneath...

only things that really worked out recently are my MSFT and verizon short credit spreads.... guess with this major surge in yields and volatility i should of done some debit spreads and got some of this vega.... dead wrong in my volatility strategy... didnt figure summer time would lead to this big move.... tell the wall street fat cats to get out to their mansions in the hamptons already

Idk what to make of the China interbank buzz. If it weren't for the latter I would feel ok about trying to catch a rebound in the nearterm via SDS or VXX puts. FXI didn't sell off any worse than most, though.

Even so, I sold the put leg of my IAU straddle & made 50% on the whole thing. Also sold half of my USO puts for about 60% roi. let the rest ride risk free. And I am pretty flat, waiting for the smoke to clear a bit.

Brand new options month might make all the difference, just today put a cherry on top of June for me tho.

ABX closed at $16.60, my option went as high as $1.56 before closing at $1.43 but closed earlier at $1.28 giving me a return of just over 18x my investment
