Thanks for replying, I know that different brokers matter. But my question is why is the Third Screen Strat EA, opening buy trades on Eur/Aud while on daily on my broker macd is red?

I have the D1 20 EMA & 50 EMA strategy with FOREX-Metal and the Third Screen Strategy on Alpari UK for the Demo tests.

I really don't know why the arrow is still pointing up...

Maybe because there are open BUY positions. Not sure, maybe Khaled can let you know if he comes across your post.

I hope Khaled knows something more about this. I wanted to go live with this EA. But I don't trust the EA with my real money. Broker is admiral markets. Will wait till I hear some news about this problem and switch to your 20 50 EA on demo.

Just disable the EA and trade manually for the time being. You don't really have to be glued to your computer screen with this strategy even if trading multiple pairs. The biggest benefit of the EA is that it will open positions when we're away from our computers.

I do not advise trading with this EA on 100% auto pilot!

100pipsaday, Which EA do you mean, TSS EA or 20 50 EA? I Always look for resistance on montly, I have a simular system, I entered only on a breakthrough of a resistance that was my entry, but your EA gets me in trends at a better entry position. Thanks for that!

I want to use your EA's for getting me in at the right price while I am not behind te pc. And then close at resistance as I Always do.

I personally don't recommend trading ANY of the EAs on complete auto pilot.

The EAs give us a general market direction on the Daily chart and then provides us with decent entry points in order to follow the trend as best as possible.

We have already been down this road before when the MACD3SS was first posted - jasper, you do have that indicator in your folder, right?

If so, all I can suggest is to shutdown, restart, refresh your chart data, check Indicators, make a new Template, see if that sorts out the arrow problem

EREBUS , Now third one comes out is TCO Trader EA , All three is Third Screen Strategy , D1-20EMA&50EMA and TCO Trader EA , Which one do u recommend for long term profitable , Malcolm .

Yes I have the MACD3SS in my indicator folder. Should I remove this from the folder? My EA version is 1.2.

NO - don't do that, khaled says the EA reads data from that indicator even if it is not on your chart, it can read it from within MT4

Check the TSS thread, there is discussion on EUR-AUD and the MACD giving wrong signals

I know the SL/TP for the various pairs have been put up by 100pips, but he had also told us that he had set all pairs to sl=160, and tp=280 for jpy crosses and 320 for others. Whats your observation so far? Pls share your experience with sl/tp settings.

Hi Ymleong,

Just wanted to clarify that I typically use on my live accounts the following settings:

NZD/JPY, CAD/JPY, and AUD/JPY: 160 SL and 280 TP

EUR/AUD, GBP/AUD, EUR/CAD, AUD/USD, NZD/USD, GBP/NZD, GBP/USD: 260 SL and 320 TP

EUR/USD: 200 SL and 320 TP

I am currently demo testing 160 SL and 320 TP for ALL pairs except for GBP/AUD due to the excessive volatility. I am also going to be testing out all of the same exact parameters that I posted earlier for the D1 20 EMA & 50 EMA pairs with the Third Screen Strategy. The above parameters have been working very well for the past 2 years on my live accounts though so if you are trading live you should probably stick with what works, however, the choice is ultimately yours.

The MASTER has spoken, better listen, not to mention, his forward testing results speak louder than anything I can respond with

I have run the EA on all pairs but using a uniform 100 SL / 300 TP for all pairs; this was more to watch the behavior of the EA as well as price action

And, to be honest, I am more of a small swing trader as to opposed to the long swings that 100_pips trades so well
