I've decided to just narrow the pairs I trade to the top 6 that 100pips recommends.

Putting more money into more quality, so to speak.

Thank you very much for a wonderful contribution. You have been very gracious and may God reward you for this big heart attitude. I have been following your thread on advice of hnk for the last two weeks and my MACD (TSS) is showing a 100% increase in profits in my demo account. I have three more demo accounts running and all in profit. One thing I have noticed besides money management is what sort of basket you are trading. This will explain the different returns on different accounts among different members.
Although statistically there are many variables but to my experience of last two weeks it is the different basket set.
I wonder if yourself or other members of this forum have a different opinion.

He has the RSI on the Daily chart - I believe that is just another confirmation for the major trend direction

Yes, he does the same entry as this method, W%R on 1 Hour chart

I believe he has got the label wrong on the second chart - they are not both D1 ??

By basket set I mean which set of pairs are you trading? four, five , six, etc and which pairs. If you are trading with eight pairs then this is equivalent to a basket. But the final profit or loss will be determined by which pairs (besides other variables) you are trading.

This IS NOT Dr Elder's system you are displaying here. This is your own filtering addition and strategy mixed in that should NOT be introduced in this thread, in order to not confuse others following and trying to keep things simple. You're trying to evolve this strategy into something else, and I don't think it's proper to be introducing it into someone elses thread. Need to be consistent with what we post, especially helpful for newbies trying to trade this system ONLY. Just my OP. GL

You are your own worst enemy in this game.

When I spend too much time in front of the screen, I go crazy. I really need to learn to just place trades, and let go.

And I think a lot of people's issues (including mine) is that we trade too many pairs. Sticking to the top 6 or so that 100pips recommends, and just opening multiple positions in each, would be best.

Yes, it was A/U instead of G/A. I wanted to compare it with the stoch appraoch of yours. But my impression is in this case,
that the stoch approach gave better entries with less draw down then we have now with the regular EA.

However, as I wrote before, in the end, hopefully, it will recover and then we both get out at +320 pips profit target and we both have the same end results. Only, you could easier endure the drawdown period.

Yes, using stochastics gives better entry and would lower DD significantly. End result could or could not be the same depending on PA movement in regards to ATR, IMO.
