(Please note that I'm not affiliated to Alpha Novae at all)

Fxking: I would advise people to go directly with LMAX. Through Alpha NOVAE, you can open LMAX accounts with a minimum of $1000, and have a UK quite big and known broker with FSA regulation instead of a small eastern Europe company with unknown regulation. sh5467 says that you can have a $2500 mini with fastBrokers too (I don't know them). I opened my account with a small deposit through Alpha novae personnally. Only thing is a leverage of "only" x100 instead of x500 for armada. I wouldn't...

yeah thanks again. I was watching the LMAX book on USDNOK the other day, big spread there but not many orders and it's a trade off between making a bigger spread and having the liquidity there to get the fills. I will check out Dukascopy and see what there minimums are. as we both know this problem would not be a problem if I had 50-100k as deposit. I could simply go to a pb and grab currenex/integral/hotspot and off I go. good news is barriers to entry are coming down in terms of deposits and technology.

You're welcome. Dukascopy minimums are very very low ... Quite nothing.
You know what you now have to do: Convert your few $K to 100K to be able to go to a PB to then convert them to millions Good luck !

Currenex will not give you any kind of edge. In fact, I can tell you from the liquidity side that it is quite expensive for LP-s to supply liquidity to CNX. So you will always find better spreads elsewhere as banks markup the spread on CNX to make up for the increased costs. Anybody long enough in the industry can tell you the same. Keep it up.

But here is my advice to you: do something real, become a carpenter, build something, teach others or just create anything as trading is just a game with numbers without creating any value for the society.

Sadly this is not true any longer as any work is worse than trading as no product is needed by anyone and also destroys environment. Playing casino is fun although as you said it is rigged and there is no real liquidity.

Great depression has not gone to second gear yet. Will happen soon.

If Alpari or Dukas wouldn't charge such ridiculous rates for swaps, I'd be happy to move there.

Does anyone know about LMAX roll over fees? There is no way I am paying them anything for going long EUR/CHF when I can get positive carry with MB Trading and CitiFX Pro
