Simple makes it simple, hehe. The trade I posted is not a usual one for me. Most times I trade in direction of prevailing trend. This trade is counter trend. That's also why I'm watching price on a 5 minute chart. When I'm going with trend I don't use anything less than 1 hour. Not only are there logical reasons for this, but it also helps with the discipline.

I find it difficult to trade with prevailing trend. Most of the time i am looking for turning points, i am sth like bounce trader. I know i sholdn't but it works for me becouse i never don't know is it only bounce or trend continuation or trend change.

Most important to be alwayes on green side

If you are making consistent profit with counter trend trades, then no reason to stop, right? However trend trading is the easiest. You just need to have patience. Which is why it is better to use a larger time frame. You widen the stops and targets to give it a chance at catching the trend. People get confused because they think buy low, sell high. They don't realize that buying low or selling high may last for a long, long while. In the grand scheme of things, buying low may be a months/years long affair. Now go look at a past trend and see how many rallies there were within it. There might be hundreds. So what are the odds that you pick the one time it reverses out of hundreds? Answer: not good. Conversely, the odds are in your favor that you will be in lock step with the trend at some point in the not too distant future.

With that said, there are times when counter trend opportunities arise that are worth the risk. Again, if you can spot these and take advantage of them then why stop?

I'm going to stay with my trading style because it gives me nice profit but i'll try to connect it with some positions with trend. As i said i can't circumscribe is it only bounce or end of a trend.

Can you tell me do you use SL in 1h TF? Or close incorrect transactions manually?

We are expecting trend continuation on AUDUSD, are you looking on this TL on 1H to short it?

There was a reason I labeled the end of current wave either A or 1. You may find the answer in the EWP books. The outcomes of either one are quite different, so trade carefully if you have shorted AU or plan to do so.

The EWP books only give basic principles, so you may not find the real answer without further studies. Although I believe the market paths were preset longtime ago, it's not that easy to see all in advance.
