Daytrading/scalping with high leverage - my proven strategy

Sometimes, it depends on how I am feeling. If the trend is clear and I'm in a good disciplened state of mind (like today), then I do. I traded 1% per pip, when Favorite first opened up his system, had a great few days, and then a few loses killed me. 1% per pip, is really hard when you are looking at £/$100 per pip. It takes alot to be as calm and self assured as you are with 5 or 10 per pip.

Discipline to kill trades really quickly is key - the SL is there as an emergency, not an exit strategy. If I have any doubt, then I'm out.

I think this is the hardest way to trade - everything has to be lined up and psychologically you have to be really in tune. The system is simple - but it is not easy.
For that reason it is not the only system I trade though.

I know, i burned a few accounts, but now i think i'm mastering it enough to do well with that MM.
But for me it's easier to apply with igor's system and now that i've modified it a little it's perfect for me.
Anyway i think everyone must use the system his own way and appropriate it to himself.

I totally agree - I am using Igor's at the moment - it's nice and straight forward. I factor in Pivots S&R, previous week/day highs & lows and I want to see good PA.

The sweetest trades have been using Igor's system to enter into longer term trades, and then using another timeframe to exit. Enter like a scalper, exit like a swinger.

May I second that request. Things on this thread have become rather messy lately, too many variations, but it seems you guys have it sorted out for yourselves quite nicely looking at your trades: congrats!

It would really help us if one of you could maybe just put it all in one place, pdf or something, because it seems that the way you guys trade "Fav a la Igor" is the way to go. You would be making a tremendous contribution should you see your way open to do it, and you'd have some very thankful followers.

And one more vote for Fav's system. If I not follow it basics how could I forecast this pullback from TMA H4 middle line(+ 15 pips). Through the system this pullback occurs most time.

P.S Now I see that the pullback was about more than 50 pips. The best exit was to trail it.Maybe another time))

As Condor commented earlier, the key is to making these systems your own - there is no such things as a plug and play, because we all trade differently.
Having said that, this is how I am using Igor's system. I use Condors template (which you can search ont this thread), with added indicators ASCTrend 4TF, FXI Pivots and Previous Day/Week Highs and lows. You should be able to find them on the Genesis thread. I am currently working on using Igor's system, with DNA's MM, to pinpoint enter trades, that look like they're lining up on Genesis, then I exit using Genesis. As RJ descibes is, enter like a scalper, exit like a swinger.

I must stress that I have only been using Igor's system for a short while and so I am nowhere near expereinced enough to guide, teach or coach it. It is also likely to refine, but results so far have been good. My current use can be summarised as follows.

1. Look at the TMA band. If you can't see both lines (upper and lower) in the screen (without zooming out) then do not trade.
2. If you can see both lines look for trades in the direction of the TMA slope. Sloping up = Long, Sloping down = Short. (I don't trade if it's horizontal - it means its ranging).
3. For longs I look for PA to be coming up from the bottom of the TMA band, that may mean it's coming through the cloud and crossing the white Kijun line. I'm looking for a candle to close above the Kijun and the SMA. The next candle open is my entry - but I want at least 10 pips between that point and the upper TMA band (that's where I TP). (Reverse all that for shorts.)
4. Price action is really important - I am looking for a trending pair. I take Pivots, Support and Resistance seriously - I won't take a trade going into one of those. Same goes for Previous Day/Week highs and lows.
6. I'm looking for higher highs, higher lows (for longs).

In short, I want the highest probability setup I can find. If I am in doubt I sit it out.

My SL is there as an emergency, if I think anything is wrong with the trade I bail straight away. SLs are not there to be hit - they're there to save your ass.
I find it hard to do screen shots of trades because I use a seperate computer at work, and it becomes very time consuming and complicated - I will try and look back at previous trades taken, and post a few pictures - but as has been pointed out the TMA position will not be the same as when the trade was taken as it repaints.
