Why can't every good trader teach well?

There are many traders who had many experience in forex. They became proffesionals and started to learn newbies. They can also open special forex lessons. Some of them are good, some are not. Why do you think it's so and what kind teacher you would prefer?

Some traders are really good at trading. But some are not. This is not due to lack of knowledge and experience related to forex but lack of teaching skills.

Are you looking for a good mentor or what ?

Trading in forex market and teaching forex to any body are two different things. Some good traders are not good mentors. It is not possible for every one to be a good mentor. Such abilities are also rare.

simply, great trader trading styles can't be systemize with rule " if A go up, you go long else short" like that.
most of them have their proprietary judgement as result from several year experiences.
even if they want to teach us their knowledge, you will not grasp it until you have experienced it. and it is not because they can't teach us, its just we still lack of experiences.
One great trader in FF said, what do you need is to surviving your trading account long enough until you can grasp the knowledge. Maybe after 10,000 hours trading time

Some traders are good to teach others others can not tell as effectively as they are doing good trading. @nd thing is our personal experience and understanding . What we think others are different in their thinkin they can not pick what we teach them . So in forex trading every one had its unique style of market dealing.

Yes, I'd wanted to find a good mentor, but I hadn't met such teacher.

Could it means that the brokers which open different kind of lessons make it for their own profit, not for giving reall skills?

Yes, I agree with you that many traders have their own style, but I am sure that they can try to explain the principle of a trading strategy. am I right?

I fully agree on this. I believe that ONLY thousands of hours of watching pure price action is the best teacher any one could have. And it also needs time so that your unconscious mind could process all these correct info and do it automatically. This will be something like 3~10 years for a trader according to his efforts in real-time (Just like achieving a proficiency in a field) . Between that you should trade live but with the smallest amount possible in order to survive this teaching time & look to losses as teaching fee.

After that trading gets boring & with discipline profit will come.

traders can't teach beacause gut instinct cannot be taught but it can be a hell of a money making machine to teach something that cannot be taught. ask james16.

Some cant teach but has great ideas.
Some can teach and has great ideas but only willing to share little.
Some can teach but know nuts.
Some cant teach and know nuts but just want to lead others in a wild goose chase.

Try to remember who you're trading against, institutions banks etc

Can one person give you that knowledge

The teaching ability is very rare in human beings. Often you cannot express your imagination and thoughts to others as you would have been like. Similarly for teaching you need some skills and ability.

There really isn't that much to teach to make a good trader. Just learning to read Price action and supply and demand is all you need. Thing is you have to aquire experience trading realtime and also have discipline, which takes time to develop.

Unlike many other professions rules for success in this business are not universal. What worked for the "teacher" may not be the best advise for his student.

I think every trader who has good experience in Forex do not become a good teacher and he can not teach well because teaching is another field and experience of teaching is very necessary to teach.
