This has been a bumpy week. Today I achieved a new record drawdown of 1400 pips (open orders)

The current status of the week is 100 red pips (open orders)

This last weekend I decided to stop live trading (once again) and focus my self in 2 demo accounts. The strategy is the same, mix of fundamental and techinal analysis, but in one I have a fixed TP and in the other the TP is variable.

I started way too leveraged and slashed the lot size to 50% after a few trades. I think I will downsize the lots to 0,5% of its actual size.

These are the results of 2 days trading:

At least, in this week, seems that the added risk of variable TP doesn't pay. This week was too easy to trade, I'm curious to see how this works wih ranging markets or trend change.

Stoped trading FTP and VTP, because it achieved a 50% DD. This is unacceptable, so I will adjust my MM accordingly.

I will continue trading FTP in my REAL and DEMO account, because my real account is underfunded to trade this strategy and may become untradable. I will open a new DEMO account, with the nem MM rules, and I want to see its activity for, at least, 6 month. I will refund my REAL account if in the DEMO account the DD does not go over 25% and if I see a steady increase in equity during 6 to 12 months. I will also start another DEMO account, with other trading strategy that I've been thinkinf of in the last couple weeks, but it may take a few more days to think about all the details,

Yes, I know this has been a long and bumpy journey. I think my learning curve would be much more nice to see if:
- I started to learn forex when I was a student (more free time, less worries)
- I started a journal since day 1
- Updated my journal, at least, with daily periodicity

It's very good to have this jouney written, even if does not have the details I would like to see know when I want to analyse my past behaviour. If you don't write down your memory can play tricks on you and reduce the negative parts and inflate the positive ones.

Since I already have my main strategy and MM sorted out, and that's the one to be used in Real and Demo 1 Account, I will also start a new demo account for "gut feeling" trades regarding everything but MM.

It will be interesting to see the results for a strutured vs an unstruted approach in forex trading.

I'll try to register the daily results whenever possible. In this way I'll try to better reflect the emotinal coastride that I' m through during my FX journey.

Since my daily updates will be done when and if I have the free time for it, they will differ somewhat form the weekly results, that will be the most accurate ones.

Wish me luck... Because I think this time I already have everything to go for full-time trading ;-)
