probably there is something wrong here.
The triangle for the direction of the macd D1 is down and red, whereas the macd_ajustable is positve and green.
Also, the EA makes a sell. This is not good. The daily macd is UP, so the EA should seek for buys.

It would be easier , if the EA had a version number. What version am I running here ?

I noticed the same PROBLEM...from the latest EA posted by 100PipsADay in the post below:

For examples,
GBP/USD, AUD/USD, AUD/NZD - on the daily chart...MACD is blue (up), but the top triangle is red and pointed down.
EUR/JPY - on the daily chart...MACD is red (down), but the top triangle is green and pointed up.

Yup same issue here GBP/USD D1 is up but the EA opened a Sell trade on my Demo.

Code bug ??

Might be good long term buy; this is where Third Screen MACD & 20 EMA - 50 EMA are different as the 20-50 is selling the AUD-USD right now, while MACD is buying; who is right?

put white background on yours chart - you will see what version is it (top right corner)
Forex can only be understood backwards, but it must be traded forwards.

Hello Everybody,
It seems you are facing problem with EA. I got several PM. I send an update to 100PipsADay. I don't know whether he posted it or you guys using it. I found MACD is not functioning well. I was trying to incorporate MACD within the EA. But it works only one direction i.e BUY. It needs time to fix the problem.
It is advised to all to use the earlier version of the EA along with MACD3SS.

Just to refresh this "RESISTANCE" theory, I'm sure it works as he says, but you have to remember what currencies are - they are the total sum of the state of 2 countries economies.

Sure you will find top tops and bottom, but if it was purely a mathematical problem, it would be solved by now.

BTW, how is that short trade working for you now, still hanging in their, using the old, when the PAIN of losing just 1 more dollar is more than the PAIN of admitting I'm wrong type of STOP LOSS ?

I'm glad I was tired from the insomnia last night, slept in, didn't feel like updating my charts and Templates, so now I missed out on that

Demo test utilizing EA is only 2 weeks old but have really only been testing for a week or so.

Over 5,000 pips profit giving a return of over 20% in that short amount of time... I couldn't ask for more.

Folks, if you aren't already trading this strategy live and making money with it you may seriously want to consider doing so. This month is off to a great start with my live accounts as well and we are less than a week in to June!
