First of all thanks for introducing your trading method ;-)
Did you ever try to trade this system on a shorter time frame (e.g. 4h chart) ?
What about trading only the close above or below the 50 EMA without looking at the Williams%R ?

Just my 2 cents.

Which is the EA being used by most people here? (Asking because I see several different eas)

I know the EMA's are for the D1 tf, but do we set the EA on D1 or H1?

Yep, 6.800 pips last week too (live trading). Entries are really good IMHO, the best exit is where I'm focused now.

what does this mean 7,400 pips in a week? 7400, 740, or 74???

I ask this cause i've tried to backtest with your EA a few months (1 jan 2013 until 31 may 2013) on my broker (FXPro) and my backtests unlike yours are only lose...

But also apr 2013 until may 2013 i can see only lose.

Peoples here use only one EA, which is developed for this thread only. If you have time, please read this thread from first post and soon you will discover everything !!!

Anyway, the EA works as per thread's strategy. No matter what TF you set it.

I appreciate your experience with this simple but powerful and profitable strategy.

With that number of pips per week the exit doesn't matter too much! Let's keep it going.

May be down to the pairs you choosing but I doubled an account in 3 days last week (posted here somewhere). Caillou is doing great and Khaled . Check out 100 pips trade explorer the clues are all there.

H1 Williams % is important to me for entry points in both of my swing trading strategies.

MT4 backtesting in general is fraught with problems and tends to be inaccurate. Do yourself a favor and forward test it like the rest of us. The fact that your backtest for May 2013 showed a loss when in real life the method gained about 20,000 pips ought to tell you something.

Ok, thanks for reply, anyway at this time i'm in profit with 500 pips (running EA live thursday), at this time i really think that MT4 backtests don't works very well...

BTW : I use 10 & 50 EMA at 5M chart , but my problem is I don't use something to tell me when is the right moment to sell / buy .

For what it's worth:

I'm running two accounts side by side.

First one is a live micro account (in signature) with the original parameters laid out by 100 pips. Lot sizes are based on specified s/l with a 1/2 % risk per position

Second is s demo with original entry rules but no set s/l or t/p. Lot size is based on 1/2% risk using a 2xATR on daily. I'm using an initial s/l of 2xATR, which is close to the original parameter s/l. I'm then using a trailing 20ema exit as my t/p. The idea is to stay in the trade as long as the original premise (above below the 20/50) is valid. We'll see how she goes.
