up is over,,,,,its heading south M8S.... top pattern is clear

up move was due to weak USD, strong Yen. EU was negatively correlated to UJ today.

Sorry but your are lost in translation.

Don't get me wrong you are not remotely close to reading fundamentals. Do you even know what is CPI stands for? ... better stay away form interpreting market moves from that FA mini news like this as you will get burnt rather quickly and end up neither trading the technical moves nor the knee jerk reaction moves and worst the FA swings...

My 2 cents, if you are interesting about fundamentals learn how to crawl with the macro issues and only when you have fluent understanding of them you can start a looking at the micro factors.

I do not believe that market takes care about one data that was announced yesterday. Market usually knows wich data is going to appear the following day.
Do you think Deutsche Bank doesn't know the German data the day before???

How and why would you translate a higher CPI than expected reading?

I don't know if the CPI number was any catalyst for this move.
But i'm sure market was not expecting such a high jump on the CPI.

This is how I see it ......Three failures are enough for the market to continue it's direction.....but in the end no body really knows , so trade the technicals
