EA entered a trade on EURJPY even if H1 Williams %R is yet to reach the oversold level. i also set the stop to 20 pips, with target of 60. tp is okey, but stop setting when EA entered trade is not. any ideas? do i need to restart mt4 whenever i make changes? are the settings here in terms of points or pips? like 200 points is 20 pips, something like that.

My EA seems to be taking profits before TP level has been reached. Is this part of the EA, when a trend reversal is detected, or a bug?

thanks.

{quote} NO answer, but here are the EUR-AUD trades opened last 2 days on my demo account, so still working for me. Only difference setting is for 8 hour between trades. @ Murksler, do you change time frames on the charts where you have the EA running? I do it all the time, so maybe that keeps it refreshed or whatever, just a wild thought. {image}

I found the EA is opening positions as per time delay. Please see the attached image. Thanks.

Good morning.
The EA open only one pair the EUR/CAD today so far.
For other pairs like USD/CHF, USD/JPY, GBP/USD were I get a signal the EA still won't refuse to open a trade. The limit of maximal 4 position a pair isn't reached and the last trades of these pairs are way more past then 12h.
E.g.
USD/JPY last trade 23.05.2013
USD/CHF last trade 21.05.2013
GBP/USD last trade 21.05.2013

No errors in Journal or Expert log.

I think next step would be to reinstall Metatrader.

Hi
Thanks for the amazing trading system and EA. Can anyone tell me if this would be profitable with lower SL and Tp levels? Like 50 pip TP's?

Hey Murksler

Try maybe to open a new demo-account with a different broker. You seem to be the only one who has this problem.

I think the EA does miss some trades. But overall, I don't think it is that big a deal since if I was doing this manually I would miss many more.

Here are some trades I think it missed.

I would not agree: even though it might miss less than one doing it manually but if an EA does not do what it is supposed to do than there is a bug. I would not like to entrust 'real' money to an EA with obvious errors. On the other hand if you do it manually you are always 'there' to make your own decision.

I'm just replying to the statement I did not use the EA

Have 9 positions open, most of which are losing quite badly. Hopefully these turn around.

EMA's are good to some extent to determine the trend and to plan for strategies which will bring some sure profits, but this is forex trading business and everything goes with the probability.

I think I might have to take that back. I went thoroughly through all open trades this morning, and I actually did find a couple of missed trades. Might want to take a look at this Khaled.

I think it might be better to manually place trades. This EA isn't doing very well at all. Or at least, avoid using the EA with any of the majors. It seems USD pairs don't have a good success rate with the EA ?

I did just get GBP sell trade. A little late from initial signal criteria being met, but much better entry.

It has been suggested many, many times, run the EA on a demo account, then cherry pick the BEST trades, the ones that fit your trading plan, and place those on your real account, if that what you want to do, go for it!

Use the EA as a guide, a tool, to show you the way - if you have a better way, by all means use that.
