Wow! Big account! I made +230 pips and almost done for the week. It wasn't for me. Hardly dared to enter. Hope for more stability next couple of weeks. Just curious to know your holding limit. Means you said -1200 pips already, so how much you can hold roughly if market goes against you?

I make that decision "how much" before entering.on UC up for 10800 500pips above 10300 on Kiwi 74
account size is irrelevant.You can always reduce your lots to maximize mileage.Important factor for weekly trading.
In trading, you have to be defensive and aggressive at the same time

I do consider historical extremes.2008 was the housing bubble collapse.Nothing of sort now. Every country is more or less in rescission.Parity globally
To protect the account one can place emergency stops for extremes.Trading is inherently risky but risk has been exaggerated greatly.Read about supply and demand.We are simply selling or buying a product and no product now is more valuable to cause extremes.

All green now! within plan (but not as planned) and within limits. loaded up just above 0.8020 which brought my average down to 0.8135. Sold 3/4 of the position. There may be another long entry coming.

Closed out all profitable trades (left with two on NZD and 2 on UCAD)

Put me up a good chunk but holding the negative still. Will either get them off on further dollar weakness or reload the ones i closed at the bottom (or top) of the range,

Pips are nice but it's only a unit of measurement. A guy w .1 lot may outlast the guy with 1 lot but it is all relative to the account, margin etc.

Anyways with Aussie. Currently at 78% Fib, which is acting like resistance. May was to retest. My swing low theory is void if it fails to break this resistance. Target 1 .9665 hit. Next .955

Kiwi targets in blue. Potential topside white.

Just a two cent opinion of mine on the NU pairs
On the major trend, the NZDUSD broke past its 100SMAs (significant movement) and seems to be on the way of a reversal movement. Daily & H4 definitely shows of a downtrend movement. The question is probably how much more downtrend before we see a reversal. Trading in the short term we should be expecting the NZDUSD to hit once more 0.8000 level and it would determine the direction of the NZDUSD pair.

As attached is my analysis.

Still waiting for some movement,

expecting us to play in the range from 0.80 to 0.825 this week.

In the event of a drop beneath 0.80 i have a pending order also at 0.79 and will likely add a couple manually between .79 and 0.8.

Deending on the speed of any proposed move south i will adjust the bottom buy order to be just above the top of the 3 lines (wherever that may be).

Not expecting to see price break 0.80 though on this bear trend. Dollar is already out of its comfort zone.

Waiting on US news Wednesday am ( NZ time) and Stats this Friday (NZ time). Treading water currently waiting for news - support found, or down to .76 -> news will the driver.
