Well not agree!! Still we are in downtrend. So only trade reversal can boost towards parity. Today AUD disappointed, JPY is untouched and Bernanke is ready for fireworks. You call it as a speculation but I am still bearish on AU. As said yesterday I controlled myself and stayed aside today and I am happy I did this. Still aside till todays NY session.

AUD is going down for the short term. I think if it breaks 97 it will the lift doors will close and it will go down quicker than Taipei 101.

Looking back DB's entry was a good one and could of made some good pips depending on TP

Another note is that entry is not broken yet

If he allows the USD to strengthen further,
unemployment will shoot straight up

Possible but unlikely, the Aussie has fallen a lot and Australia is the only Western country with a decent economy and real wealth.
Also, according to Saxo bank there are more short retail traders than long (54% vs 46%)
so my thought is that the big boys will probably try to make everyone believe that the Aussie will fall through the floor and they will be on the other side of our trades going long.
I'd expect to see a rejection of this level at the higher time frames before going 100% long
IMHO

Yes you might be right Billy. But I think the big boys are doing the opposite. They are stretching the retail traders that are long above parity, and will try to bust some accounts before changing the trend. So i'm thinking further down, give it a few more hours and the direction will start to take place.

Retails are very long currently, you can see it on FF, Oanda, eToro...but it does not necessary means it won't go up
I remember a lot retails being long before the huge JPY weakness, sometimes retails are right.
It's mainly high leverage and over trading that's killing retails and not bad forecasts.

As for myself i'm long term short AUD & NZD against all currencies, except maybe GBP...because i feel like it's their turn to have a "doom time" after such a long over valuation period.
