i think, if i remember correctly, i entered this euraud position at something like +92 or something like that...

so, when we revert back to breakeven, we are sitting at +92 on my indicator...

if i were to explain it to you, you would have one of those ah-hah moments, but i will not explain why this is true, i will not explain it to you in public.

You should all ask yourself why there's no experienced traders following seriously this thread ... We see so many times this kind of holy grail dream to vanish after few weeks/months because all collapsed ...

angelofx, first, remove the moving average from the chart... right click on the chart, click INDICATORS LIST, and remove the moving average. if you are following my trades, then we all need to be on precisely the same frequency without exception.. press CTRL-G to remove that unsightly crosshairs grid from the chart. press CTRL-N TO remove the navigator. right click the MARKET WATCH window, the one that shows all of the currency pairs, right click it and say HIDE ALL... this will remove all entries except those that you currently have open charts...

i have traded live fx funds thru a couple of brokers only, fxsol.com and ibfx.com and forex.com, and out of these three my favorites are a tossup between ibfx.com and forex.com, but the really nice thing about citibank is their undeniable stability...

does anybody remember the fiasco that took place with a company called refco?

something happened where something like four hundred million dollars simply disappeared or whatever...

well, if we put tens of millions or hundreds of millions or even billions of dollars on deposit with citibank, i can go to sleep at night knowing that they are well experienced at handling funds of this magnitude and i dont have to worry about shoddy management smoking crack using my fund's capital.

know what i mean?

if we ever open our accounts and find out that citibank has gone belly up, most likely the remainder of the world has also..

truth is, when my group trades really large funds, we will partner with citibank.

a note to angelo...

on your terminal, in the lower right hand corner, do you see the tab that says "TRADE"?

you can double click on that tab bar where it says trade or account history to compress that area, making it cleaner, if you wish...

and then you can double click where it says balance or profit/loss to re-expand it.

regarding this issue, i leave this up to you, but my preference is always that we keep things tidy'd up nicely.

and that we keep every last person looking at the same thing and that we are all on the same page.

hint: do not wait until you are trading a hundred billion dollar fund before you begin acting like you are trading a hundred billion dollar fund.

start walking the walk now...

and then when we find ourselves with the fat money, it wont be nothing but a thing.

i understand what you say. however, you are wrong on 1 point.. the fact that so called "experienced" traders are not following this means a rats ass to me. who are these "experienced" traders you talk about and what credentials they have to judge someone else ??

But, you do have a point that not follow this blindly. But there is no harm in following on demo and giving him a chance to prove his strategy. Except time and some energy, there is nothing else being expended here. So i see no issue why he shouldnt be afforded a chance to show what he has.

look at it with an open mind. if not for you, just move on. thats all i think one needs to do.

i get what you're saying. However, this is a common problem not just with your thread , but with everything here on FF. Every new idea/method/strategy by a new person is immediately shot down by the people with the "V"s . I think people need to be a little more compassionate and considerate of other's ideas before shooting them down. I am not here because there is a "holy grail" in the thread title. I wont believe that until i have seen it over a period of long time. But give the guy a chance to present his ideas , will y'all ?

Have i missed the chance to get in the trade? That's the thing with being contrarian, it's insane to sell when the market is trending up especially like it was a couple minutes ago. I'll wait on the London guys and if i miss the chance, so be it. It's been a good exercise.

previously, when the demo account was up by positive sixteen hundred dollars, i advised you that a ten percent margin trade at 50:1 would be fine and that you were instructed to not use a stop loss.

no take profit.

you may close at any positive profit level or you may wait for my instructions to close your position.

Nothing wrong with the advice you gave. I always trade with a stop loss and would be cautious when i get a trade recommendation from anyone. The question was rhetorical, it does not require an answer. I was monitoring the trade but didn't have the courage to jump in when the chance came as i was going to do it on a live account. It's human nature.

Not yet, slam.dunk. The plan is to set the alarm for 2am ET and price alert above 1.3178 on the EURAUD, hopefully one should trigger.
This is a good time to take a nap, it's 11pm in NY. Thank you for the training session.
