Market exhaustion = short position unwind (see earlier post). My market exhaustion software is adamant that if we don't hit 1330 it will gradually move higher to 1650 by October. I haven't back tested it or checked it thoroughly yet - its a new program so unclear on how reliable it is.

Definition of 'Market Exhaustion'

Situation in which a majority of participants trading in the same asset are either long or short, leaving few investors to take the other side of the transaction when participants wish to close their positions. Exhaustion signals the reversal of the current trend because it illustrates excess levels of supply or demand.

Not yet I don't think. Has to break 1430 and then 1450 consecutively. Before then there is a chance of a drift down.

Not getting a clear picture. Technical analysis is saying too many obvious things which can be misleading.

Technical analysis doesn't quite work in a market like this.

Market exhaustion level 1330.

Possible downside to 1360-1375. Otherwise we keep going up from here until 1425.
