ok, i am done for the day with 45 pips. not going to experiment (i hope )
really trying to reduce number of trades i am taking but so far with no success (today i took about 26 trades...)

45 pips for 26 trades that's less than 2 pips per trade...
No signal for my new system so i traded Fav's system, i made 2 trades :
First for -5 pips and second for +16 pips so i made +10%

you cant really look at it as 2 pips per trade. there are losses. i probably take about 8-10 pips on eurjpy on average and about 5-6 on eurusd

I know, it's just an average.
I think you should give a try to CHFJPY, you'll probably get a better success rate.

why chfjpy? the average daily range is lower and the spread is wider?
seriously, what is wrong with me - i guess i need somebody who is going to slap me and close the platform once i am up 40 pips. i am doing my usual silly trading style now and losing my hard-earned pips...

i tried to open account with them year and half ago but they say they dont open new account for UK residents due to some changing regulations . not sure how much had changed since.

IMHO the white indi is kijun line, a part of ichimoku.

Your old-opening post kinda made my toes curl out of awkwardness haha. Probably does everything wrong that you can do wrong, according to my beliefs that is.

Especially awkward was that you stress MM. Well let me stress that MM can't make you a profitable trader, it can only help you deal with the variance of your trades better. Just like your good ol' martingale does for ya. But itll never make a losing strategy a winner, and in my book a strategy with such high amount of commission/spread per trade is just soo hard to beat (and know that you beat) the odds it's almost guarenteed to lose.

Thanks for the analysis. Some very good points that I must try and remember

Today I started trying the USDJPY instead. I caught the up move this morning. I think I may prefer this pair as it moves slower so I have more time to think. Anyone who wants to try it maybe can use a higher lots size to compensate for the lower ATR.

Also it doesn't get confused like the Eurjpy does when dollar and euro go in opposite directions.

I've put the M5 MTF cloud Indi (provided by Simonik) onto the M1 chart and this helps with entries.
