For those of you who trade the daily chart, look at EUR/CAD.

ILZ, see second red arrow in the post #265.

1. Did you exit a trade, because it closed below Super?

2. Did you entered a trade after the next long candle closed and on the open of the next candle?

I am trying to go by rules, as they written in the forum.....

Thanks Ilz

What I was really trying to ask but didn't express it very well was:

For an entry or re-entry where the price crosses and closes over the SR level do you allow a minimum clearance between the close price and the SR price level? The example I referred to (GBPJPY) had only a 2.1 pip clearance on my chart, which I felt was insufficient considering that the Super Trend had been flat for the last 12 candles.

What are we looking at exactly? Do you have a screenshot that you can post as to what you're looking at? I'm pretty sure that you're looking at the short, but I'm just curious.

These is nothing written in stone no. It is a decision made by the trader. Remember, FX fundamentals should always be taken into consideration when making the decision to open/exit a trade.

Can you explain this entry?

My entry was on yellow arrow, same stop loss now, as you have it.....

But why your entry was way below at 1.52022?

Hello ILZ,
Please, for a Long position, the price must it close above the super trend, if ST is blue of course?

Thanks!

Hey Driven,

That candle was the 5 am -9 am candle. I missed it because I do not get up early all the time. I try to but sometimes I don't. Since I missed that one, I had to wait.

Hi ILZ.
One question. Why did you not buy order on USD CAD after the close of the previous order? My robot did it and as you can see .....

Hi Kasia,

I like your robot. I had to put a buy stop 1.0181 , because when i went to sleep , the last two candles were not printed.

Kasia if you can make this robot , I would love to discuss pricing with you.

Hey kasia,

I'm not sure why you took that trade. After looking at it, price closed .2 pips over the ST line. To me, I did not see it. All i saw was a spike. I am not a machine, like your robot. Just be careful. i would not rely on a machine to trade my money for me. Especially when the dollar amounts go up.

Good Luck.

Hey all,

I would like to say a few things. I have no issue with any of you making a FAEA or a SAEA. I am even willing to help you outside this forum. I can run tests and check them against my trading history, help you fine tune, all to help you if you believe you need such a tool to help you.

But I will say this so everyone understands.

If you have any requests for help or would like some specific information to create a FAEA or a SAEA, contact me with PM. Please keep this thread free of FAEA or a SAEA chatter. I will start a separate thread for any and all interested in developing a FAEA or a SAEA as long everything there is freely shared.

No one has permission to make a FAEA or a SAEA in order to sell it or make any money from it other than trading on their own account. I know I can not stop anyone from doing that but....

if I catch someone doing that.......... your not going to like it.

Be cool, be respectful & be honest.

Hi Ilz,

I moved my stop on nzdusd. then I got stopped out, but also price closed above supertrend , after that barry printed a resistance line , then price printed one red candle which didnot close below supertrend .

should i have taken my short at the break of this red candle , or according to you am i suppose to wait for a candle to close i.e the present candle.

and was moving my stop the right action.

also having taken usdcad i.e putting a buy stop , is that the correct action i am using , or am i being impatient
