It is up to you to close trades manually or to wait for SL targets to get hit. But I never like to have buy and sell positions for the same pair open ever, just not my style...

I normally like to keep leverage under 20:1.

Money Management is a whole different topic and I would prefer not to get into it as everybody's risk tolerance and financial goals vary.

If you allow me, I think there's a small written mistake on your first table, AUD/JPY ( ADR 22 instead of 122).

Since the only problem I have heard any one mention so far is that this may not catch the trend change, might it be better to have a small TP like 50. Because the way it seems to be working it would just get right back in to the trade if the trend still holds. But if the trend is changing it was keep you from making such big loss's if you are not at your computer to catch it.

Thanks, nice catch, did that while trying to get columns lined up. I usually do this stuff in Excel, easier to work with than Word, for me anyways

If we had a 50 pip profit target then we would need to have no more than a 50 pip stop loss target, or something even more like 25 pip SL to keep the same risk/reward ratio. However, due to the fact that we are trading off of the Daily charts and are swing trading we need to anticipate larger swings along the way and we would probably get knocked out of our trades with a 25 pip SL 9 out of 10 times.

Those statistics are not entirely correct but the point remains that we need to have larger SL's and TP's when trading from the D1 chart but can also be more flexible with our entries and don't need to spend as much time in front of our computer screen waiting for good trade setups.

Remember, this is not a scalping or day trading strategy, I am a Swing Trader and am always looking to profit thousands of pips off of trends on the Daily chart. This style may not fit everybody and may go against your core values as a trader. Make sure this style of trading fits your personality and preferences.

Good morning 100Pips and good morning everybody, the EA has collected 1100 pips from yesterday! Maybe, friend 100pips, you have to change your nick, 100PipsAday, with 1000pipsAday? I know that it will not be always so positive, anyway i'm so glad to know that system, not just because it is really extraordinary, but also because he is giving me a wonderful setup to trade manually, using the daily EMA's on the 1h timeframe, (EMA1200 and EMA 480), and bollinger bands,W%, some lower MA, and go on! Thank you again 100Pips!

Hi Erebus,
The D1 20EMA & 50EMA EA don't have the setting for ADR as you pdf EA settings.
Can i know where you input your ADR setting ?

Can i know more about ATRTP and ATRSL:-
You say:
ATRSL and ATRTP -- The most successful pair so far is the EURJPY. I took the default settings (TP 350 and SL 250) and calculated this out to be approximately 9*ATR(30) for TP and 6.5*ATR(30) for SL. If you leave it like this it will have different targets for each pair and even the same pair as volatility changes.

Mind to explain the (30) is it M30 timeframe? I not very sure how is the ATRSL and ATRTP is act on the EA. Hope you can help me on this. Thanks

Hi 100 PIPS ,I m ur new member from last night , Need to know why ur chart and my chart are not the same , Very top on right , Urs say third screen E A and mine say D1 20EMA & 50 EMA , Does it makes no difference .

First off, let us establish that you are using the SAME EA as 100pipsaday and myself, is this the screen you see?

If not, you must be using the Extra Lots EA perhaps?

I have a question if you don't mind regarding when the D1 trend changes.

On Aud/Usd D1 price is below both the 20 and 50 EMA's so we go to the H1 chart and the EA takes a sell when Williams % indicator goes into O/B.
It adds positions if the above conditions are met and depending on the DelayHours parameter.

If the price on Aud/Usd D1 then goes above the 20 and 50 EMA's and the EA opens a long position what do you do?

I ask because I saw you wrote "I have a hard SL and TP for each position. I will not move SL or TP targets EVER."

"4) NO opposing positions should be opened no matter what (no hedging same currency pair with buy and sell positions)"

After a D1 trend change I assumed the sells should be closed manually whether they are in profit or losing.
