Ah yes, the death throes are in the air.

What you're all seeing now is not new. This exact thing has been going on for the entire time the thread has been up. But now you can see what hapens when I'm no longer able to keep control of things, and of people. If anyone thinks it has been a picnic to run this thread for 2 years, you're out of your mind. The last 3 pages should be proof enough.

I haven't posted here (or anywhere) since December for the same reason many now have stopped posting. Everything anyone "needs" is in post #1. Period. Sad to say this thread has ended up on the same road as 99.9% of all threads on all forums.

The latest version of the indi has a lot of great new features from where it started, but is simply an aid (huge aid) to an age old strategy.

I thought I would post once more while most are still visiting to thank FH and xux especially, and all the regulars for their contributions.

My eyes were opened by this thread in August of last year. I have to admit I swayed another direction for a few weeks during that time and then regained my senses and have not looked back.

IMHO~~For ALL starting this currency market path, you have but one chance to succeed. Read this entire thread (at least once)...demo it for a month or two max...and finally apply your gained knowledge live.

Wishing all those who have dedicated themselves to this method, a lifetime of success.

and there you have it a beautiful breakout on the euraud pair and a gain of 35pips

eurjpy is still in play and I didnt use the cable

I wanted to ask you a favor,if you dont mind, it might be that I dont have the latest indi you are talking about ( I have first and next two of series), but I dont have one which has auto optimization mode. would you be so kind to post it here or send me on email please ?

Perfect chart 101 to test people. This is a perfect CZ per SSBO standards, it is 20 pips high, and has been ranging for 8 hours (32-15 minute bars).

My MM stopped me at 3rd trade. Not that I'm not interested to go any further, I am just trading according to plan. That being said, I think an analysis of such a beautiful CZ is a must to TRULY understand the very basic premise of the system, and why it is of utmost importance of not changing ones settings.

Price is now at its 5th trade (4th recovery).

What does this mean? Is this a loser? Most definitely not! Will the 5th trade FINALLY be the winning one? I can't say, and I couldn't not care less! Why? Well, what I can tell you with 99.9% confidence is that price will eventually breakout from that area. How far are you WILLING to go? How far CAN you actually go? - 2 concepts that don't necessarily go hand in hand depending on your mental stability and funds in your equity. It might take another 1-2-3-4-5-6 trades, but it WILL break free from that highly congested zone.

So I should change my settings back to reduce the risk of such occurrences and aim back at high probability breakout trades and curve fit these past results and get my breakout trade back at 90% plus? Not at all... and for the simple reason that I have forward tested my so called settings, I understand how the system works and I know that, in the end, proper application of my trade plan with sound MM will get me there.

Using my settings all the way back from October/November 2012, these occurrences are very rare, but they are the ones that truly test your money management, test your stress levels, but most of all, test your actual knowledge of the system.

And there you have it, SSBO 101 in a nutshell. Have I brought anything new? Nope... that is all covered in posts 1-10. The indicator just allows to see it more clearly.

Jay Nicely done. There are a few posts that provide the insight necessary to be successful. This is one of them and you're right; it has been said so many times but until I actually traded and experienced the pain of being against the wall and seeing how I tried to lesson the pain by changing my settings or changing my plan, I was lost. I now know that most of my effort spent trying to lesson the pain of being against the wall was a huge mistake. I now look forward to the pain because I know what to do: walk away and forget about what the market is doing and stay focused on executing my plan to perfection. SSBO is a plan and learning to execute the plan is all someone has to do to be successful.

i followed this thread since January, but i get lost in midst of so many systems, ideas and strategies. Newbie disease. Then, thread notifications began on my email and i'm back.

Its simply amazing to see this CZ's forming all over there!!! I just have to thank FH and all of you.

My only concern is to loose clear breakouts, since a keep searching for "perfect" book CZ's, with prices all congested within them. Am i wrong?

(sooner i'll post some charts with my hand picked CZ's)

It's over, it only took this monster 7 trades to get there. Rare occurrence, but price never stays stuck within a range forever.
