DislikedAs said this system is not fully automatic..it becomes manual system after the full positions are done (8/8). Then as said weekly levels are much of importance. It is players role how to play that out. Trailing, widening the TP or slowly letting them go out naturally -original tp and sl. As seen in simulations - there is a lot of optimizing to be done when tp or sl are coming into play. Yes, when the system closes the trade on sl or tp, almost immediately opens another one, that is definitely a weakness. That is why it is of much importance to have...Ignored
This is exactly my point. By the time we are entering our last positions, trend might not have the same momentum as it was in the beginning of sequence. It becomes more difficult to achieve the same fixed target levels as defined for the first trade. Alternatively we might keep the same target price for the following trades as given for the first one. Or in forward testing we should stop the EA after desired number of trades and let the trades reach their targets or SL. Still EA is good option for at least opening the positions and as you suggested manually handle the exits. This will free up us from sticking to the computer.
100pips just clearing up some points and in no way I am criticizing the system. It is a solid system with lot of patience and emotion control required without unnecessarily jumping in and out of positions. Very important to have clear targets and exit points to take out the guesswork. I have previously worked on a similar system with good success. Will closely follow and will definitely use it for my long term trading.
