Yes . .big wicks mean a rejection . .the key is from where . .why is Price rejecting there . .what is causing it .

Hey all ive been following and demoing on and off for a while and i have a newbie question. When one plays the break of a PB or Bearish Or Bullish outside bar, do you set your entry at the break of the bar or do you move it a few pips further away from the break to insure against a false break? Hope that makes sense. Thank you

Welcome to the thread

I like to use a "buffer"

My buffers depend on timeframe and what is around but a general guideline I give is something like

1hr 7-10 pips
4hr 10-15 pips
daily 12-20 pips
weekly 15-30 pips

Hey Hehesam

Remember we want to start by finding beobs at swing highs. I always like to say that just in case someone is trying to build the right foundation

I would say with the boxing going on if price breaks the low of the beob we should hit the next PPZ of the other two boxes

we have a pin forming on GBP/CHF 4h at an extreme high. possibly a C move back down to the trend, but i know that could be lofty expections. any thoughts?

Hey JJ

it certainly makes sense to connect major swings as you did. Actually that lines up right with where my trouble area is on the previous post and price is bouncing there now. I would have preferred to see a touch though b/w the first two points as that is a lot of time to pass on a trendline for me.

Hey Y

Price is in a tight box here so we could have a consolidation play. I'd like more confluence but watch out for the midpoint of the box. Price has retested the left eye and held so that's a good sign and of course a good place to reduce risk if one was to take this trade

My trade in EUR/AUD from yesterday that hit my target at the BRN today --> dly HCR zone --> zoomed in on 4H chart to look for good PA signal --> found a nice pinbar that I shorted and ... quick profit
