Very interesting variation so instead of using a stop you just take an entry double the size the other way??? So are you no longer placing a stop, just a reverse pending order the other way??? Sounds cool as long as the price keeps reversing and doesn't swing back in the original direction.(Are we talking hedging here or do you close the wrong trade out immediately you enter the reverse trades?)

You say that you take the double opposite entry when you are "wrong", at what stage do you decide you are wrong and commit to the opposite trade?? Also how do you decide when to close out the original losing entries??

Yes you're right it's hedging
I decide that i'm wrong when i loose too much money
I close all trades at same time when i get enough profit.

Actually i use 2 templates for my strategy :
One on one pair on M5 and the other on the 7 charts

I love the idea of a skype group and I think we should start one. I already have one room for trading but not many members are trading this strategy so it would be nice to have one dedicated to this. Then it makes for quicker and easier communication without clogging up the thread

hello David, glad to see you back! i saw the trade forming as soon as i switched on my platform but by the time i was able to click it had moved 5 pips and didnt want to chase it great trade
i think i am going to focus on something else than trading for today. took lots of countertrend trades on eurusd today and couple of eurjpy. i placed 12 trades today taking small profits together giving me 50 pips. not bad for 1 hour trading

Very Bad trade for me this morning.

I thought after the bad EU data formed a new low it would continue after bouncing back down off the TMA5 to the TMA15

Went to get ready for work, came back and it had completely reversed hitting my SL

Obviously the TMA bands were in different places at the time as this screenshot was taken an hour later

Excellent. This approach is very nice. If you scale it up to catch reversals on the 4H or daily, this approach is almost fool proof as it combines correlation with trend trading and measures risk aversion and appetite generally. A friend of mine and I worked on this for a while, very encouraging results. Please share more.

I've included 2 scripts that people must modify to have the correct name of the pairs cause on my broker EURJPY is EURJPYi so i modified it that it works on my broker.
Now the core of the strategy :
1) On the first template JPY must be above all others for a short and below others for a long trade
2) We must see a breakout through the clouds on at least 3 pairs
3) Action !!!
4) MM : as we have 7 pairs we should take leverage 20 on each, that means 0.1 lots for 500$

Actually i'm trying a more extrem MM as i use leverage 50 for each pair and i haven't burned the account yet so if it works it will mean that i trade at leverage 350.

Tony I think you are closing early. I like CT too because when it appears the next pattern will be TMA1 beyond cloud pattern.

i certainly am, but i only had 1 breakeven trade. sometimes i take 5-6 pips, price pulls back and i get in again for another couple of pips

Counter trend are really dangerous, today i officially doubled my account from 130$ to 306$ but i had some fear due to technical problems.
My MT4 crashed and i couldn't manage my trade for 20 minutes, when i finally could launch mt4 i was at -50% p/l and finally i could make a nice profit.
