be very careful.... you might be longing into a falling knife, thats why i would like to see the second attempt at lows first to determine if its a good time to long or not.... right now its too dangerous...

Probably generally a good idea, and probably shouldn't have posted that as advice, just reflexing an answer as what I am doing. But I'm putting on a 1/10th my normal position with a 15 pip stop just to test waters. I've already got a 1.2% gain today, and I'm happy with that, this is research.

Thank you FXTyrant, yup totally logical as the trading week is almost over and will see how it unfolds next week..

I'm waiting for a good long entry point to target at. 1.038 (right about when the rumour that Soros had shorted).. I suspect in near term (within 4-6 weeks) the pair is unlikely to go beyond 1.04..

what i worry is that AUDUSD may test 0.98 as early as next week and possibly break it.... thats why i would prefer you give this miniature rebound a chance to prove itself if it is a solid support keeping it up on a 2nd try....

I am trying some new mathematical number crunching techniques based on price action. I t works great in hing sight so far. But that isn't good enough. Anyways, my test number will be it going down to 0.9940 and then it will start bouncing up from there. So, I will see Monday morning my time, how close I can get to that number. If I am close, then I can start fine tuning my theory.

what if i said i told you so when i was short at 1.02,03,04 and 05 now that all these shorts of mine add up to almost 2000 pips in profit total as we reached parity?

where is sidhujag btw?? the person who was against me when i short the AUDUSd up top and saying 1.06 was top?
or how about the person who was against me saying gold wouldd go up to 1700 when i been short gold at 1650 with targett of 1450 prior to april?

sometimes the people who come out saying i told you so are sometimes people who you shouldn't triffle with.... what do you think warren buffet or bill gross or other hedge fund managerss are if they dont come out into the media and going "i told you so" now and then? they would've been nobody...

ps. sidhujag last i heard is now investing in bitcoin, he obviously havent heard of the dutch tulip bubble crisis... or the more recent housing market bubble crisis

the sharpest move in nearly a year, managed to trade below 1 this week. I hope volatility in aud is back !!!

front men keep repeating AUD too strong, so not that keen on upside.

Current momentum can drive AUD all the way to 95. Will take short trades only.

Finally the Aussie broke out of it's consolidation range. I think it will go back and test the backside of it. I feel that support may become resistance and we may see a further drop after that.

I agree ,after break of range we see at least new range or new trend ,I see potential for new range but long term feel bearish
if it fails the underside ,see as very bearish ,
