kbp i put sell stop/buy stop and i have more than trippled my account so to say its gambling is a misjudgment i respect your opinion but state it as an opinion not as a fact. And pullbacks dont always happen it depends on the news announcement.

My apologise. Yes that was a misjudgment, I should have taken into account of other people' strategy on trading news instead.

Trading news via having open positions beforehand is not recommended, as brokers like to use news to stop hunt.
However, if you trade with a pre-determined strategy to open a position after the news like our fren, kbp, above, it is a valid style. Or if u r some economics guru / have inside info.

Though, general answer is if u r not consistently in the green, exit all positions before news announcements.

Don't trade the news , you will be bankrupt before you know it

I trade both way placing a buy/sell order at the same time if there is any opportunity fundamentally for the pair to jump 100-150 points and if there is any short/long setup formed i go with the retracement , before gambling i thoroughly read the previous fundamental data and trade(gamble) accordingly and gain of 100 pips within 5 mins is not bad

gauray... it's not a gamble bro ... I trade news releases too and got amazing results, 800% in 3 weeks.. could you tell me what broker you use? my broker always try to steal my money...

that is a mistake?

yeah last time its happen to me, buying/selling stops aka news trapping , overshadow kill my account, its happen in eurusd (nfp) 3 mei 2013,
usdcad 10 mei 2013.

iam lost many pips, because news trapping doesn't work.

I am new to trading amd i trade through a broker named Ambit market but very soon I'll shift to Admiral markets they are really serious brokers

Sometimes I watch Bloomberg or CNBC at big event times to catch the direction and then the counter blast.
The women are always good lookers too.

guys I'll post some details about which I'll trade in future , i think am among few traders(gamblers ) who are trading the news successfully so I'll post some details about the target and SL and also I'll tell why the news is highly awaited .

there are so many haters around I am new , i gamble , i keep pushing buy/sell button randomly or anything else but till the time its making me money i don't even care . I would like ask some senior PPL to teach PPL wuth some good stuffs about trading rather than bragging about their seniority

I think its less the fact that they hate and more that they worked hard to get where they have and really, who gives something away for nothing in this system (capitalism).

I would suggest that you get down to the nitty gritty of studying the charts in earnest and prepare yourself for hard work and much contemplation. Also get a book by Steve Nison for the basics...then build on that.
The road to pipland is arduous and fraught with challenge.

I do study charts and trade PA this thread was for trading the news so i posted how do i trade the news successfully some people call it gambling but i think its not bad when u can scalp , get on some good swings trade the news by placing buy & sell order simultaneously also trade the retracement if there is any setup for trading the retracement it gives me good returns with a very small SL just wanted to share my way of trading news although no grudges with anyone .

I completely agree with you i close all my open positions before high impact news release
