Disliked{quote} Edit: It just took out my SL which was at 22 pips + spread above the high. Where the short broken line is. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Any particular reason it does not work on H4, or perhaps it is just that the entry may become later?Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Quidsey I took that trade, your right there was a nasty squeeze, my initial SL was 1.0258 (above the previous high) so I "just" survived. I exited at 1.0179, previous consolidation level, but just before price really tanked (could have make 4Rs but I'm happy to settle for the 1.08 R).

Disliked{quote} Wow, I don't follow this pair but real shame you didn't get to it on the H1, that's a lovely SFP of a previous weeks recent high you've found there in my studenty opinion. Nice move away from the initial rejection point, over time, creating space, then coming back at it like it's off to the moon and it's goodnight suckers. Got a nice kick off 4530 too, interesting to see how it reacts to the back of it if it breaks down. 4412 looks good for some action if price got down there.Ignored
Disliked{quote} It may well work, my point was really that we already have a method that works and I was trying to save the thread from going off in other directions as so often happens here at FF. Before you know it someones slapped a moving average on or made an EA or whatever, you know what I mean. I try out different things all the time with this stuff, as I said before I trade RR on the 5m and sometimes I'll post a chart or two so I'm as guilty as the nextIgnored
Disliked{quote} Thanks for the input Quidsey. We on the H1,I believe there was a Rounded Retest. Would you agree?Ignored
Disliked{quote} Not sure what level you're looking at there but I'd be a bit careful, check out the daily.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Pinbar, I'm still working out the SFP for myself, but my immediate thoughts are the swing between A & B on your chart looks quite a minor one, my testing thus far has shown that when there are 2 levels so close like this, the higher probability set ups occur when both levels are taken out by the sfp. But you may well find a good entry on the lower tf. cheers RichIgnored
Disliked{quote} There is no need to complicate this system. When I have two close swings like here I always look at the higher one. So there was not any SFP here, but you can wait and see for D1 SFP. However if there will be D1 SFP it will be quite risky because its a third approach to the level (check the chart). A fresh untested level is higher. That's just my point of view. {image}Ignored
