Big fucking spike on GBP pairs. More than expected results @ their GDP.
Dont chase after the price.

Yes, TMA H4 center line is a very strong pattern, but as I said in my Summary we wait for either a strong break-out or a strong bounce. Before this particular trade I was talking about the price broke the center line powerfully, so if I was trading at this time, I would definitely took this trade.

To tell you the truth, if I was trading GbpUsd I would never stop trading for this kind of news and not every time their GDP has such an impact. That's why it is important always have SL/lock.

But GbpJpy would still be just fine, at the time of the news the price was inside of the Ichimoku cloud. So it's only GbpUsd traders who would suffer even if they follow the Babon rules.

I respectfully disagree. EurUsd spike started approximately 15 minutes after GbpUsd spike, GbpUsd huge and sudden spike had impact on all the USD-based currencies, even on UsdCad, and it's natural. And when was the Merkel's speech?

Merkel was on the news about 25 minutes ago, and EurUsd spike started forty minutes ago. And how can you explain the similar spikes for ALL the dollar-based currencies, even NzdUsd and UsdCad? Merkel has nothing to do with UsdCad, hasn't she?

Sorry but i dont see usd spykes...only few pips moves when eur .
Eur doesnt follow gbp after the news. it doesnt make sense...but if you see it...it's ok no problem. This is out of topic

Yes, it does make perfect sense! When GbpUsd (one of two most popular and most powerful currencies) has a 120 pips spike in a couple of minutes, that affects the dollar, and dollar affects all the dollar-based pairs, and they affect the crosses.

If you see the chart and when everything happened you will see.
And yes, even 500 pisp moving of gbp doesnt affect anything as always has. Seen many times. Eur and gbp are often correlated but not if the move is caused by a news

Anyways im happy that EJPY didnt breakout yet.Yesterday range 100 pips , if today also stays inside the 100pips range we can expect BO
cant say when the BO will occur but when it does it will be huge.

Yes, I see the charts, and what is even more important I see the M1 charts. It has nothing to do with the correlation. If you don't understand what DOLLAR-based currencies are all about - too bad. I've seen even strong AudUsd spikes affected all the usd-based pairs, and we're talking about GbpUsd here, for God's sake!

Now as i check the calendar, There is some news from japan tomorow. it might cause a BO. cant be traded from technical point of view?

BOJ thing can have a huge impact, I wouldn't try to trade it, rather just be very cautious. Just IMHO.
