Just wondering, did you take this knowing that we were still in an uptrend according to the bigger picture? I realise we long before news and price usually continues its trend after news but the TDI was beginning to cross back over at this point before the new H1 and the HA candle had turned red and we were moving down from the H4 TMA center line? Just wanted to clarify the bigger picture

Yes, for me the uptrend was still in tact, both Price Action and the price direction inside the TMAs showed that. TDI is a good indicator, but when red and green lines are so close to each other and the angles are so bad I wouldn't pay any attention to TDI at all. And please don't forget that we have to pay attention to H4 TDI too! H4 TDI is definitely up!

I took two shorts before this long trade, but I knew that those two shorts were just a pullback, but a good one, so I took advantage of it. And I don't think those "news" is a big deal. We can't pay attention to any news, otherwise we just can't trade. If we are on the right side, small news just help us.

There are two problems here:

1. If we get a new indicator, we'll have to test everything again.

2). Most of the MTF indicators repaint.
