I agree. GBPJPY and AUDJPY are pairs that have nice setups too. Does anyone know of any other pairs that have nice TMA M1 beyond the Ichimoku cloud setups that move like EURJPY?

Hi Bernardo

Sounds like a good plan to me, do you use 1% across all 3 trades or 1% on each entry??? Catch one of these right and it could be some lovely RR here.

I'm thinking I will make 2 entries at 1% each get them both to BE at say 3 pips for safety then close one out with the first push for maybe 10 to 20 pips then just hold the other and trail behind 100 sma. Would of worked nicely today on this afternoons move up netting me about 116 pips trailing my stop behind either the 100 or 200 sma. (see chart below)

I would of probably entered about 128.40 (break and retest of 200sma) with 2 entries of 1 % per pip each then close one out at 128.753 for a profit of 35 pips as impulse move finished .

Then depending on whether I trailed the 100sma to 129.281 for a further 88 pips or to the 200sma for a 81 pip profit.

Either way a 100% plus trade.

Anyway thats all very well with hindsight.(makes trading so easy doesn't it, hindsight that is???)

Well I shall be trying this out over the coming weeks on my explorer account to see how things go.

Here is a nice trend-indicator. The 123patternsV6 draws up and down arrows, if a new 123 Pattern is breaking and shows the change of trend.

I found another one, CHFJPY. Most of the JPY pairs are making the same move.

good evening everybody, didnt have time to read the thread or trade (except for like 15 min). place 1 short trade (only one for a day) quite late during the day for +11 pips. oh boy, only if i knew what was coming like 15 candles after i exited the trade

Hi Clive, I use a script to open the orders where I put the % and the quantity as I want to split the resulting of number lots (the minimum is always 0.1). I usually use the 3% and 5% exceptionally. For example, if my 3% account shows a total of 0.9 lots, the script opens three orders of 0.3 lots each.
Then I have in the 1M chart a 50 EMA and other of 250 (equivalent to a 50 EMA on 5M TF); usually when I have only opened the third order I moving the stoploss in relation to the EMA 50 and then in relation to the EMA 250... if it's a trend day add new orders when the price makes a pullback on the EMA 50/250 (for example yesterday).

PS: all my orders have a default stoploss of 10 pips so that the lots are calculated as a function of the free margin in relation to the stoploss.

I believe the CHF is pegged to the EUR so the EURJPY will trade the same as the CHFJPY so you might as well trade the pair that has the lower spread from your broker.
